As my dear old pappy used to say, "patience is a virtue, desired by many, acquired by few".
My dear old Pappy also used to say. "If you can't dazzle them with diamonds, baffle them with Bull." It appears that many of the player's are running out of patience. In an effort to keep us all paying, D is trying to dazzle us with a little Diamond "Weapon Quest" and "Founder's Feast", when really it is Bull because most want new content. I'm paid through May. On two accounts. One of those accounts will definately go basic after this billing cycle. The other may go basic if the status quo remains. |

One thing i have noticed, is that thre are probably a ton of concepts that arent even on the test server yet that disney is working on as i type. By the end of march of next year we SHOULD have a major update. i know for a fact that disney knows that if they do not have a big update soon, thier million-2million dollar game will go down the drain. it is just a matter of time. Disney is stalling. all of these little mini mee updates that are going on are stalls for a much much bigger one. trust me. disney should know by now what pirates want. better ships, harder enemies, more leveling, and another story quest. but, you have to remember that it took a long time for disney to even come out with the first POTCO version and a whole nother story quest and enemies and ships are going to be hard to do even with a team. You think Photoshop is hard, try what their doing. trust me. disny is not going to let this game go down the drain and there will be an update by the new year in the first few months.

i agree fully Basil and i'm so sick of this curse! the color and lighting of the curse depresses me. and why are they still running it? i was supposed to end dec. 14. they need to come thru with changes or something new cuz i'm borderline sick of the whole game right now.

Ok, ye might all give me the evil eye for this, but I have to disagree here.
Disney can only do SO MUCH at a time. if ye think of it, they have a tough enough time making the entire game altogether. think for a minute how hard there job could be. I've worked with 2D computer animation before, and I thought it to be the next thing to impossible. Think how hard it is with 3D animation, let alone video game making, and making online connections!! Disney does not have it easy, especialy in these troubled times. SAVVY???? |

Basil, you are completely right! They need to come out with something new and they need to come out with it soon. I'm just hoping the reason nothing big has come out is because they are saving for a major update and then advertise it like crazy to get a new wave of members. Hopefully around summer because that is when I'd release it.. when more people (especially kids) are able to play it. I am very close to fully mastering my lvl 40, and I too have very little desire to work on another. I'm ready for some major changes. I look at the updates they say are coming out this year and i just hope its not spread out, because i'm not sure i can wait. So come on POTCO.. GIVE US SOME MAJOR UPDATES!!!!

I'm so sick of just sitting here on pirates doing nothing! It's getting super boring! All that people can do are clothing quests, tattoo quests, weapon quests, ect. and ive already done all those! disney has let us down big time! The game is going downhill! All my friends havent got on in about 5 months. They all gave up! I love this game and i miss the big fun quests! I'm a level 36 so people like me like level 30 and above are getting bored and tired of the game! All we can really do is sail and make money! Woopee! So fun! These little quests are getting annoying and boring! What happens when there are none left!? Disney needs to step it up a notch! They are gonna lose some big money if they keep doing this!! I hope a new story like comes out soon! Like idk it could be about the Flying Dutchman! Who knows? They should make continuous story lines! Like one for each movie, and so on! You know once you finish one, you should get a little break like for a few days or so, and whever your ready get the new story line of quests! I'm getting mad! Lets keep our fingers crossed, and hope they make a new one soon! And make it interesting! -Captain Elizabeth!  irate3:

So Basil wrote that six months ago, and although we've got some new islands, his point is still dead on. New islands are like getting new cars. They're nice, but it's where they take you that's important. We now have three new islands with dozens of bored lvl 40 pirates hanging around. It used to be just a few lvl 40s. Disney needs to give us what our true levels would without the cap, and let our lvls be unlimited. Why limit lvls? And, more importantly, give us something to do!!! That Black Guard thing last weekend was absurd. The most loyal players are the ones who've run out of things to do and are bolting. My membership is up sometime soon, and I'm not sure I'm in for another year of this.

Unlimited cap would be great, but what Disney should use is a new ranking system. How would that ranking system be? well, we can have the word "Officer" "Lieutenant" etc. on top of our names. But like you said, I have another year of membership and if they raise the cap to just 10 lvl more, I wont renew. I would like the lvl cap to be at 100.
