I would like to see many lag free events.
I'd like to see more GMs(probably mdoerators) around different servers to prevent lag.

Well - though I never got to sail - I did get to be there for a bit....

It was... well... if they wanted to test latency - they got it. Between the Lag-Chop, the GM Swarming, the Chaos... and only picking one server whcih no one could get to...

This event was poorly executed (and from more than one pirate - I herd they can't sail a boat to save their souls! LOL )

I did a few pics though... I'll post them up tomorrow...

Good to see a few POF faces there - thats was more the highlight for me than the event was

EDIT: After looking at the pics - I think only one is needed... it was just a madhouse

I'm not saying they are good (I wasn't there) but it sounds more like a communication problem. Was the goal: quickly defeat EITC? Gold? Cannon reputation? Make people realize they are human too? Just give 1,000+ people 5 minutes to chat with a GM?

I've been known to fire off a broadsides shot into the air, to communicate to the crew which side I need them on (while trying very hard to not steal their rep points.) It's 5 seconds faster than going to the skull, sea combat, Port side (left)! And it's about 2 seconds faster than typing "left" (Or, as I usually type it, about 15 seconds faster as "qwleft <- <- <- <- <- BSK, Del, Del, Del, Del, Del, Del, LEFT!" Why left arrow, backspace and delete each have a one second delay, is quite a mystery. Why the chat locks up when you delete the first character on a line is an even bigger mystery.)

Also, driving with a FULL crew is often more difficult than with a medium sized crew. Trying to give every cannon, a piece of the action, is essentially impossible.

Yeah this event was poorly planned, I saw almost Every GM there, Thing is, why on the same server?

I got booted from the server several times and gave up. The server was then full. All I really wanted to do was observe the event.
