ETC Welcomes Pirate #207!
The Elite Thievery Company passed the 200 pirate mark this past weekend with a dear long time friend Devildaughtr coming aboard.
But, the real hats off is to a great officer corps who continue to find eager and determined recruits. We don't hunt for only higher levels and don't try to grab Level 1 and 2's fresh off the dock, but look for folks who enjoy playing and want to be part of an extended family. When I started this guild, size and ranks were NOT my goals - but I guess good news travels. Looking forward to our PvP Fight Night this Friday as ETC members go toe-to-toe and blade-to-blade and OloFest! this Sunday as resident trivia maven OloEopia tests pirates mental meddle with 20,000 in gold up for grabs!! Keep going mates, the horizon is always ahead of us!

ETC Event Weekend!
Members of the Elite Thievery Company have a lot to celebrate this weekend!
We're past our first month... up to 227 pirates... hitting the ranks (without demanding or pushing our membership to)... and ready to promote an officer! Friday Night is FIGHT NIGHT! All ETC members are encouraged to step into the ring in various PvP singles, teams and mayhem matches. Smack talk is expected, but we're just here for the fun of competition mates. Saturday Night... one word - PARTY!!! To honor our first month and to pay respects to OloEopia for turning 40!! Sunday Night is Olo-Fest as trivia maven OloEopia tests our mental meddle with a popular media quiz where the winner gets 20,000 in gold from your GM! Time to party lilke it's 1699!!

Our little company has topped 120 pirates!!
We hit #21 For Ships Sunk on Sunday and #34 Enemies Killed on Saturday! At the same time, our guys were spreading our name truly working as a guild should - taking out plunder runs, crewing up to fight bosses and being there when a mate needed help! I continue to be astounded by their dedication, eagerness to be there for one another and love of the game. It's old days returned! |

ETC Makes Itself KNOWN
This past weekend, the Elite Thievery Co. grew to 127 members, but more importantly it's first Kill-a-thon and Sink-a-thon events this weekend bore fruit!
Saturday the ETC was #19 for Enemies Killed! Sunday, the ETC was #8 for Ships Sunk! To the lads and lasses of Elite Thievery, I will buy you all a tankard at the Faithful Bride for your great deeds and happily dance a jig on the chairs! |

Imagine my surprise today to find that the ETC vaulted in the Strongest Guild Competitions Top 40!!
We're number #28 at the first marker!! You Elite Thieves you!! I am so proud of my guys!! PS - Tragically my little potty mouth incident two weeks ago will probably keep us out of the hunt in the end. |

Elite Thievery - Better than Ever!
What a week it has been!
We're still in the hunt but did slide down a spot to #29 in the Strongest Guild Competition as of Thursday night's numbers. However, I know you guys worked hard this past weekend - so I expect good things when the final numbers come out. Also, our officers had their first meeting and we promoted two of our pirates - Roger Hookswain and Reina Del Caribe to the rank of officer due to their recent efforts. Both are extremely helpful to their mates while helping the guild through their plundering and raiding. Another part of that meeting was to develop regular events for our pirates to participate in - so look for announcements to come about contests, fun stuff and efforts to bring more pirates to the ETC. In addition - we have grown to over 150 pirates and no signs of slowing down. |
