Got an update on Ol' Sooty!! He appeared during one of the invasions last night and gave us some background on himself. Hopefully Capt. C Ray will give some more details - he was there I was not.
Apparently Ol' Sooty was ordered by Capt. Cromwell to fire upon some Navy ships and he refused. Cromwell then ordered his first mate to do it and somehow Sooty got his foot fouled up in a chainshot round. When the cannon was fired Ol' Sooty became a ghost. So Cromwell seems to be responsible for the deaths of Ol' Sooty, John Moses and Constance Sorrow. John Moses was hung because the ransom to free him was stolen by Captain Cromwell Constance Sorrow died of a broken heart Captain Cromwell - do we know how he died? I can't remember. What a sordid tale - I am looking forward to seeing where this goes!!! Captain Whale |

I agree! The only ghost i have yet to see is captain cromwell. I wonder if he will be there too? After all I believe he owes John an apollogy. I also wonder if Old Sooty will be there to because him and Constance seem to be friends.

Great shots indeed! Was a bit too laggy for me to get any screens, LOL, but at least i got to see the happy couple back together!

Great screenshots!! I couldn't get close enough to get a decent shot of the happy couple. We pirates did a good deed in helping John to escape the clutches of JR & reunite with his beloved. Just love happy endings...<<wipes tear from eye>>

For the first time since the Constance/John story started, I finally saw a ghost today. Actually 2.
It was very nice. Especially since I was lucky enough to be in a disruption-free GM event - as rare as a cuddly Kraken I think. The couple reunited  And moving on to the next world  Unfortunately only about 1 in 4 of my screenies save, but we were told that once this event is over John and Constance will not be seen again. Also, John said we can continue to expect trouble from JR (no news there, I don't think). He said something about burying his swords, but I don't know if he meant that literally or metaphorically. |
