Here's chapter 6!

Chapter 6
El Patron

As the mist clears of the shrapnel and the dust from the explosions I see a new Tortuga. A new pirate hideout for all pirates to enjoy for festivities, drink rum, and the one place to hide from the Numskull Navy, Evil EITC, and the stupid Skeletons.

As I start to walk in I see the Faithful Bride rebuilt and all up and busy once more. It seems that it never even happened. There's Joshamee playing some cards with his fellow crew and James serving some more rum.

I walk over to Joshamee to ask what happened. Here's what he told me:

Ahoy Dog! It seems that the EITC have set gunpowder explosives to destroy us pirates! Lord Beckett won't stop until he rids of us pirates, and is the ruler of the Caribbean. But we pirates are strong, word has it that new legendary weapons are held deep withint Padres del Fuego, or the Father of Fire. The general, General Darkhart holds the legendary weapon. A weapon far stronger than that fire sword of yours.

I then unsheathe my cutlass and surprisingly nothing happens, no burning sensation. Then WOOSH the blade goes onto flames.

Joshamee then continues:

Word has it that the General holds the Lost Sword of El Patron. El Patron is a conquistador. A legendary conquistador. Legend has it that he had the most powerful weapons ever to be in the Caribbean. El Patron or The Conquistador held his weapons over at Padres Del Fuego. Jolly Roger wants those weapons, as well as Beckett. When you arrive you will see that the EITC and JOlly Roger will be set up digging deep into the caves. He wants the weapons, they both do and they won't stop until they get El Patron's weapons. Beware on your journey mate, beware! Alas tis I hope that you make it back and I hope that fair winds find ye!

I started to shout for a crew and then I began my Journey, the Journey to the Father of Fire...

HAhaha, nice alliteration mate.

It's a good chapter. You captured Gibbs well, and I like how you translated the Spanish phrases. I think it's a good background chapter, and I know that there can only be bigger and better things coming! Nice job.

Chapter 7
The Eeerie Mist and the Followers

I learned that all of these bilge rats were not in capable condition to head to Padres Del Fuego, or the Father of Fire.

I ask Joshamee if there is any safe way to get to Padres Del Fuego, without a crew aboard.

Aye Dog there is! Head to the docks of Tortuga and there's a man who be with some boxes and workin' on 'em. Ask him to help you stowaway to Padres Del Fuego. He will transport you, for a price that is. That is a safe way to get there. I suggest you catch some sleep while you are in say box. Here use this gold doubloon to transport you there.

I thank him once more for the info and start to run to the man who could help me. I see a man on the docks and ask him if he could transport me to Padres.

Here's what he said:

Aye mate, but ye better pay up for a price to transport you there safely. That gold doubloon in your hand should fetch nicely.

I gave him the gold.

Hop into the box. And have a good time while being shipped over seas...

I hop in and get boxed in. A few minutes later I feel the bouncing of the cargo wihch is me, being transported onto a ship. I might as well have caught some shut eye so I did. I saw the darkness envelop my eyes and I fell asleep...






I wake up.... tired and groggy but I here an anchor make a sploosh sound. I see hte cargo being transported to another similar man. He took out the nails and bolts and let me out. Well go ahead and enjoy Padres young one.

I ask him if he knew anything about the legendary weapons. He said this:

Oh yes I know of them. That sword of yours is one of 'em. But there is a legendary sword, the Lost Sword of El Patron. A sword so powerful it is said that the holder could take over the Caribbean. JOlly Roger and Beckett both want these weapons and if they do get the sword, and the plunder along with it, the Caribbean and piracy will be lost for now... and forever.

All of a sudden an eerie, green, ghastly and ghostly mist just comes out of nowhere and envelops the town. He then muttered this:

Arr! Jolly Roger is coming! This mist is a symbol of his invasion for this island! If we don't stop him he will retrieve the weapons and doom us all! We must be strong and defeat him! They will come, in about 5 minutes by the looks of this mist. Go get your weapons ready and here use this gold doubloon to get you a nice pistol at that store right there.

I thank him and run over to the gunsmith store and open the door. I run and ask if I can buy a pistol. The gunsmith says that he could give a tri-barrel pistol for that gold doubloon in your hand.

I give him the gold doubloon and he gives me a nice, heavy repeater pistol. I load some ammo into it and run out the door. The mist is darker, and it is getting much more damper and difficult to see.

I see townsfolk putting up barrels and pieces of wood. I asked a man on what they're doing. I learned that his name was Oliver and here's what he told me:

They're putting up barricades to repel the invaders, other known as the Undead Skeletal Army of Jolly Roger. These will hold them back, but if they fall then they will get deeper into town. If they get to the town walls, and destroy it then they shall retrieve said weapons and use them to take over the Caribbean. At least that's what rumor states. Be ready mate!

The mist gets even darker.

It gets even harder to see through all of this mist. I mutter a few words and start asking Oliver if there are any tips he said on what I should do when they invade.

First Invasion eh? Well no biggy, first time for everything. A few tips are that there are 7 waves of skeletons. There are many that come and with each incoming wave the enemies get much more difficult. If said skeletons were to destroy a barricade, then they go deeper into the town. The barricades can pause them, but eventually they will fall.

I then said "How do we eventually pull off the skeletons and make them leave port, keeping this town safe?"

Alright mate be patient let me finish. After the final wave of enemies or brigades some call it Jolly Roger will come. He wants to get the weapons himself and do it himself, seeing his comrades and minions fall to us, what he thinks are such pitiful pirates. We need to get ready for the battle mate. Because if we don't, then all hope is lost.

I said, " So how powerful is Jolly Roger?"

Oliver laughs.

How poerful is he? He's invaded this island much more than a couple of times. He has unlimited voodoo power and will strike down all in his way. We have many pirates ready at the guns and having sharpened blades to defeat him and hold him back. Be strong mate be strong. Now go get ready for the invasion! We have near a minute till this commences!

I start to hurry off and I see the mist is almost impossible to see through. The mis tand its followers hmm...

Oh and one more thing! Watch out for skeletons carrying barrels! They pack a punch...

Is the last thing I hear in the distance.

Then I see a ship. An undead ship by the looks of it. And lightning is in the distance with it.

I hear a voice. By the sound of it it is Jolly Roger's voice. I could barely hear him but he said this.

Attack!!!

I see undead rise from the murky waters from the dock I am standing on. I see rotten rascals of the undead armada rising to come take the weapons. I see all of these at the same time as pirates are shooting their pistols, and dulling their blades with skeletal bone impacts.

Everybody is trying to impede there process, but we all know that he will come no matter what. All of us know that Jolly Roger will come to the island and try to destroy us all.

Padres Del Fuego must be saved, as well as El Patron's Weapon Cache. If not then what will become of Padres Del Fuego. What will become of piracy if he or Beckett gets ahold of these weapons?

only time will tell, but first of all, I have an invasion to finish...

Chapter 8
Invasion

I have an invasion to finish...

The undead rise as well as the mist which is impeding many of the pirates' progress.

This is bad I thought to myself but it does not mean we can not trump! The mist and these mere skeletons can't stop us!

The Undead Pirates rise and start to commence a battle with us. One of them swung at me and I unsheathed my flaming sword and took a slash at him.

He parried and tried to get a lunge at me while I dodge with lightning speed and slash at the neck, hitting and disintergrating him into thin air. But, that was only the start.

Skeletons continued to rise from the murky waters and the hard grael of dirt and us pirates continued to fend them off.

Two Undead Pirates then swung at me at the same time. I duck and swing upwards and disarm one of the skeletons, cutting of his wrist and do a double spin cut. Decapitating both of the skeletons and turning them into bone dust, then disintergration.

Then Jolly Roger said:

Destroy these pirates and their pitiful barricades! Attack! Attack!!!

I see voodoo witchdoctors rise as well as more pirates. I throw a sword right at the witchdocto'rs bony neck.

It catches the witchdoctor right in the neck and it fell backwards landing on the hard gravel. Then all of a sudden, out of the eerie mist I see a skeleton carryinga big barrel with him.

Could that be a barrel just like at the Tortuga explosions? I decided to backup at sight and disarm another skeleton stealing his sword as well. I throw my stolen sword with precision and accuracy right at the gunpowder brrel and hit it right on the dot.

Gunpowder starts to leak from the barrel. I see a chance and then I run over to the leaking gunpowder and the skeleton with the gunpowder several feet away, putting me out of the blast radius.

I see no pirates around so I take out my fire sword and swing it right at the gunpowder. It runs on flames and heads straight to the skeleton.

When it hit the skeleton, all chaos was let loose from the barrel and sharpanel was flying everywhere. The skeleton turned into bone dust, and was never seen again and as well with the explosion, a wall of fire envelopped all of the skeletons and created a new defense against the skeletons.

Every skeleton rising and touching the flames was quickly taken down.

Then Jolly Roger's voice comes and tells his next wave to come, Wave 3.

I see more enemies and dual cutlass enemeis start to rise. I start to run into the crowd of enemies with my fury, rage and surprisingly my wits at the same time. I cut through the wall of fire with my flaming sword with all chaos let loose form it and swing at the dual weilders with all my power.

I take each one down shortly but I hear an explosion. I see a barricade right near us turn into shrapnel. I start to panic as I see Jolly Roger right there in the distance...

He's knocking everybody out and is destroying every barricade. He uses a lightning bolt to take down the barricade next to me in one shot.

So here it is,... Jolly Roger right there... I must defeat him... I must defeat him!!!

I like how you are always able to incorporate what has happened in the game into your story, such as with the invasions or the stowaways. Your detail is good. The imagery you have during the invasions is excellent. I do feel that if it had been the first time Jolly had invaded Padres, it could have been better. It was still great though. I can't believe you're leaving for a month and ending it there...... ah well. Nice job!

Chapter 9
Duel

Jolly Roger right in front of me, with the place smelling of smoke and hundreds of pirates down. If they didn't stop him, then how could I? I take a peek at him while having most of my body still protected by the rock and I see his body.

A grotesque man, made of bone with a combination weapon in one hand being his hand and a hat with playing cards on it. He had a sword sheathed along with it and his coat being dirty and stained. He was the man on evil, and I was the only one left to defeat him.

I was terrified at that specificied moment but I knew what I had to do. Defeat him, or have him defeat me, along with the town and the end of Padres and stuff, but that wasn't on my mind.

I unsheathed BOTH my bloodfire cutlass and mt bloodfire broadsword each turning to flames the second they touched the air.

I ran, screaming with all of my rage and fury, going directly toward him.

Jolly turns around startled but quick with his wits and does something I didnt expect at all. He summoned a tornado of cursed souls around him, and apparently me with it.

Surprisingly it did NOTHING at all, to me, shocking Jolly Roger and giving me the window of opportunity to take a slash at him.

I slashed at his leg chipping of bone, not doing much but still making his leg collapse to the ground having him scream this:

Gah! Impossible! Immune to my powers! I am no simpleton fool, I know you have voodoo on your side, but from who is my question! No matter, we shall duel to the death then!!!

He took a swipe at me with his armlet combination which knocked me back a few feet. He then started to look angry and summoned a lightning bolt to meet me.

It does nothing, nothing at all to me.

He screams this:

Gah, you may be immune to voodoo, but how do you fair with explosives, fool!

He waves his arm in the air and surrounding him are four powder keg runners. I start to panic and went to hide behind my rock once again.

You fool! These keg runners will destroy you if you even come close to me!

I had to figure something out. I see a pistol right there a few feet in front of the rock but I knew that Jolly was just waiting. If I could take the pistol and shoot the keg, it should cause a chain reaction to blow everyone and cause some harm to Jolly.

I make a run for the pistol dashing with all my strength to obtain it. I grab it with no harm and try to shoot it.

I press the trigger, aiming carefully but nothing came out. I clicked it once more.

Nothing.

I look inside and see no bullet in there. I made a mistake.

A costly mistake.

The powder keg was right next to me but I think quick wits took over, because I take out my sword in a flash.

In another his Powder Keg Arm fell to the ground with the powder keg safely falling and I hack the skeleton into tiny pieces.

JOlly looks shocked.

I find on the ground a bullet. A bullet that was right next to the pistol.

How was I not able to see it? No matter I slide it in and shoot, hitting my target spot on. The kegs start a chain reaction, destroying one and causing the others to explode. Shrapnel flies everywhere and smoke starts to blind me. I smell lost bones of the skeletons along with this smoke dulling my reactions and senses, making me kneel on a foot.

As the smoke clears I see Jolly kneeling on a foot as well. That sight gave me strength and courage. I stand up and turn both swords on fire. I run at him, screaming and stab right through the place where a man's heart would be, I hear several cracks go off and Jolly screaming.

Rah!!!!

Jolly says this:

You boy have power, power that I must have! The next time we meet it will not be so easy. Prepare for death the next time, and the torment of serving me in the afterlife! Mwahahaha!!!

A green aura starts to emit from him and was circling around him swiftly and freely. It started to get dense and then he was entirely covered in this aura.

The aura started to give way and when I had a clear sight, he was gone.

I hear a cannon blast in the distance. I then realize it's the sound of his ship's cannon. I leap to my left and look back.

An explosion comes and I see smoke billowing from where I was standing only moments ago. A close call.

When the smoke clears I see a paper, I pick it up and read it. It had words on it, words to a riddle of some sort.

The Father of Fire holds no power
To make anybody cower
Yet one man knows where true power is
The power he could use to make it his
He can fly away at times of trouble
Even when the enemy is tis near in winning
Finding this man be no easy task
And doing so may cause sadness, and regret.
True power shall come, along with a price.
If there was no price then there is no reward...


That's what the riddle said. I was stumped at to what it meant. I just didn't get it. If I kept going would I find something I'd regret? Who knows... who knows...

Ok, ok, finally made it. Sorry it took so long! Now, about this chapter...

I like the description of the battle and the twist where you are immune to his voodoo. The way you made the chain reaction with the Kegs was smart. When Jolly leaves, it's very foreboding, which is good. It keeps me interested. It was kind of amusing how you didn't see the bullet on the ground right next to the gun, haha. A little humor in the middle of serious. A few grammar errors, but nothing big. Nice job mate!

Chapter 10
A Spirit's Call

This riddle was something to me. I had only figured out the first part of the clue, Padres had nothing to help me. It had nothing at all. It did have a man on it, a man who can find the treasure trove and take over the world. THe question is who, and where.

I decide that I should walk around to get my muscles warmed up for the journey to come next. I needed to be ready for the next challenge I'm going to face. I stride and walk past Ratskellar, a tavern of high stakes where many play, some win it big, and some lose it all. Nothing of my concern I told myself.

As I walk by I have the ground shaking beneath my feet, I'm startled and shocked, and turn to look at the volcano right in my face erupting with the rage and fury of which seemed like a war inside a volcano full of pirates. The magma was errupting but only a little amount. All of which emptying into lava pools and rivers that criss-cross through the caves of Padres, haunted with the evil spirits.

As I turn around I see a green fog, a green smoke radiating energy right there in front of me. It seemed like a trifle compared to me but suddenly it got larger and bigger until a man stepped out, a man with dirty clothes, a brownish hat and boots dirty as well. He looked evil, and I could feel evil radiating from his very soul. So who was this man? Then he said:

So you're the fellow who fended of Roger all by ye self. You don't look like much, you look like some dirty bilge rat who's been playing in the swamp. A man like you could never be able to fend of Roger alone.

I felt anger boiling up inside of me. The rage just buildng up. I was mad at this man, but I had no idea who this man was. Who was he?

Wondering who i am boy? You should know if you live in the Caribbean! Guess your ears are as deaf as a stump's. I am Captain Ezekiel Rott, the most deadliest pirate in the Caribbean by that fact, and i'm here, to slay you for what you did to Roger you bilge rat!

He unsheathed his cutlass which had a strange glow from it. It looked like the color of gold, solidified into a sword of mystique powers. The sword was radiating the power so strong that I almost collapsed in front of it.

This sword here ain't your regular cutlass. It ain't in fact close to the power of your cutlass. My cutlass is special. It holds power that no sword has, not even the Lost Sword of El Patron you seek. Muahaha!!

I then spoke ENOUGH WITH YOUR FOOLISH TALKING AND LET'S JUST DUEL. I unsheathed my cutlass in the blink of the eye and in less then a second I was attacking, doing a thrust directly for his heart, with the flames already burning.

Rott knew I was about to do this, he parried in a second, and retaliated cutting me down in another, all he did was slice my left hand, just a scratch but the pain was horrible. It was the sheer pain alone that made me fall to the ground. It felt like a thousand needles were going in there at the same time, then coming out again in the blink of an eye in a repetitive process.

HA! You fool you should know to never strike me. This sword causes so much pain that you would collapse if I went any deeper. You fool, you should have never messed with Roger! You'll pay the consequences if you do!

He raised his cutlass, which glimmered brightly in the sun's light into my eyes and was about to take the finishing blow. Before making contact I gathered my wits, and my strength to knock him down with a sweep of both of my legs sideways causing his head to door of Ratskellar. I heard him grunt a few times and then he proceeded to get up. Which thankfully gave me enough time to get up and turn my sword on fire.

You can only stall your judgement. Nothing will save you. Padres is as dead as the back of it is. Everybody is knocked out, from Roger and you're the only one left. Don't think that help will suddenly come. You'd be a fool to think th-

Before he could finish the last word I swung at him and came cutting across his leg, finishing it and going for a returning wave slice, but he was quick enough and jumped it, landing on the blade with his feet causing it to go in the air, do spirals and land right in his hand.

You won't win, nothing will save you now, you should have realized that when you mess with Roger, you ain't getting away, and that's final.

I took out my other sword, it was heavier as being a broadsword but was with flames, it was so bright it might have blinded a regular man, but not Rott. He wasn't a human. He just wasn't. The wound he had taken had disappeared. It was like he was an undead warrior, but maybe not might, but be.

I took another swipe with my broadsword, slow, sloppy and sluggish because of the sheer weight which really caught my attention now right at his chest, of course he just had to step out of the way and then he kicked me right into the door, it hit my back so hard and hurt so bad I collapsed to the ground, almost completely but I was still trying to recover.

He walked over, slowly and then raised the sword of flames and his golden sword, to take the final sweep.

I was hopeless, I had nothing to defend myself with. I couldn't do anything, I was dead, just dead.

Then behind him I see a light, a little white light, nothing much but enough to make itself a difference from the surroundings, I see it radiate more and then a man walks through, a pirate looking man, but he was faint, it was a spirit. He unsheathed a sword, a glistening sword of white and stabbed Rott right through his heart, or where it was supposed to be.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

He twisted the sword and then takes it out causing more screaming from Rott. But for some reason, Rott is still standing, the wound is patched up in seconds but by that time I was standing already. The spirit kicks him in the back, going towards me, I move out of the way, grab my sword back and let him crash. Then I stab him with both of my swords. He screams in utter pain. I take those out but then they patch up too.

Rott turns around and speaks this:

Gah, spirits coming from the dead. What is this? You shouldn't be alive you spirit, you shouldn't have came, I'll make sure next time that Roger enlists you into his army. You'd be a great man for him to be controlled for the rest of eternity. But this time you won't escape his clutches. Muahaha!!!

Green smoke starts to emit from his body, gather and then he is surrounded by it. Then visibility is impossible with him. I see nothing, nothing at all. Then the smoke disappears, along with Rott, just like Roger did.

I turn around and see the spirit. I asked who he was and he said:

I'm a mere spirit, my name is Raaem. I was slayed by Navy Veteran during a raid, right in the back and then before I died Jolly was in front of me. He promised me revenge on the Navy, if I joined his army. I accepted but only was returned grief and sorrow. I ran away, but doing so made me a spirit, I only have this sword now to protect me. Nothing else. I see you defeated Jolly, or only holded him back from this island.

I told him, then realized he might be able to solve that riddle I had. I asked him if he could help me with this riddle and he agreed.

Hmm, a man who flies away. I think I know who. A man who flies away is a man never able to caught, who is almost caught, but escapes in the last seconds of either demise or redemption. The man is tricky though, don't think you'd be able to just get the info out of him. Go to Tortuga, and have this sword, this sword might be able to do this for you. It's a Seven Seas Cutlass, legendary and powerful, you may be able to stop Roger and anybody else with the weapon you're looking for. Good luck, but don't think we wont see each other again, I'll meet you again soon enough, whether you're dead in Jolly's Army or you're alive.

He started to fade away, with a grin, evil grin by what it looked like but I still didn't have a man! I shouted out to him, " Wait who is it! "

Jack Sparrow...

And he disappeared leaving me alone, in the day, in a silent Padres Del Fuego.
