Test Release Notes June 16th, 2010 - Discussion

This is my first week on test and I am constantly getting the boot. Other members of my guild are saying they are getting it at the same time. Is this common? Do we have to tolerate constant booting or is it only an occasional problem?

1st Boot: When I tp-ed to a djrfan on Port Royal Cannon Defense, all 4 cannons were taken up. I had no cannons, no point staying so I tp-ed out and the very second, I got a boot. I confirmed with my friend and she said its a mass boot.

2nd Boot: I tp-ed to another friend on Cannon Defense. I realize if I tp to someone and start playing the game, it doesn't recognize me as a player because I didn't "officially" play the game through the NPC and because of that, I don't get to level up, no bank notes, and no stats at the end of a wave cleared. I tp-ed out as it wouldn't let me quit the game, and tadaa mass boot.

So I guess if someone who didn't officially enter the cannon defense mini games can somehow mess up the WHOLE server upon their TP-ing away (exit button won't work for them, they have to TP).

Everybody else on that particular server gets this message


let's hope nobody rushes D to push this mini-game to Live when a bug like this can cause everyone to get booted.

Aye, I agree. It would have been nice to see some hints about "those shrouded islands" with this update (especially after over a month of waiting for an update), still I will admit this mini-game is fun. All they need now is to release those shrouded islands. Also how did one of you guys get to see the treasure and explore the town in Cannon Defense?
