Dual Wielding would be great, wouldn't mind bow and arrow either.
Like Jibby said, voodoo arrow and flaming arrow, also tought about poison arrow, you say why bow and arrow when you have gun powder, maybe explosive arrows. Then of course there would be the normal arrow ammo. |

Bow and Arrow really doesn't have a purpose, because we already have massively powerful guns at our desposal.
Fist fighting is too close to fighting in real life for Disney to add it. Some of you will argue that "Oh, so blowing up your enemies is fine, but you can't punch them?" Well, lets think about this. Not every child has a cache of grenades in their parents tool shed. But with fist fighting, kids can go right ahead and imitate that, with their friends, with strangers, even. Whip... eh. Using a whip would just feel a little too weird for my pirate. It feels a little too.. Viking-ish, I suppose? Besides, whipping is a very punishing form of torture, not killing, although it is possible. I think torture in a childs game would be pretty bad. Cursed/Magic Blades is probably going to be a new type of sword (Cutlass, Broadsword, etc) though I think it being a new type of sword is more likely. This would be my second choice, if I had to choose. Dual Wielding is definately a want for me. Being able to wield two swords at once (I can only dream of me wielding my two El Patrons right now ) just seems too cool for school in my opinion

Del,
Good argument against the hand-to-hand. Yet we can still headbutt. Yet, the French guys can still kick. And YET, we still use bladed weapons and most houses have knives. Oh, and they're developing Axes. AXES!! Here kid, you get to chop down a Navy guard like he was a tree. I understand your point but the ratings system logic is quite flawed. EC |

To tell you the truth... I think the only reason the game isnt rated T is because there is no blood, the violence is sorta cartoonish, and the language is clean. However, Im surprised that it isnt T already because of all that rum we know and love, and poker.
Eliza, where did you find out that they were making axes? Phase Files? I've heard rumors, but nothing saying that they were coming soon. |

I think the game is pushing it with the E10+ rating already. Gambling, alcohol, burning people alive, blowing people up, stabbing enemies to death, headbutts, stealing, literal backstabbing, poisoning others, attacking a defenseless monkey, etc.
Now, I'm mostly exaggerating, but the point is, the game has plenty of stuff that isn't appropriate to younger kids, yet it's in the game anyway. I understand that a Whip can be associated with torturing, but if it's used in a different way, such as dragging in distant enemies closer to you(like Grenadiers, which should be fought with a ranged weapon anyway), then players might not have to think about it as a form of torture. Actually, the whip maybe could be used instead as a type of "side weapon" that can be held in a pirate's left hand, while they attack with the weapon in their right hand. It would be used in the way I mentioned, to drag enemies closer to you for attack. This would go under Dual Wielding basically. I dunno, just an idea that came to mind. |

I voted for Dual Wielding. I always wanted to use two weapons at the same time!
