Worst weapon?

I am not fond of nades either...my level is prolly around a minus 1...just kiddin...but the only thing I have ever destroyed with one was a croc...and that was an accident...lol

Nades are the worst. No contest.

As I've said before, they are the most horribly unbalanced weapon ever. Even though the doll is relatively easy to level compared to the rest, and the dagger slightly harder, IMO, they're not too far off.

Grenades, meanwhile, are a galaxy away. They're hard to use, you can't hold anywhere near enough of them, and as others have said, the only halfway decent spot to level them (without glitching) doesn't get you far.

Grenades because they are useless. You can only "use" them to level up grenades.

okay grenades aint that hard to lvl up i got 1 to 11 in like 2 days. Once your lvl 30 grenades are useless because of vodoo staff

Sorry I can't believe that either from going to 1-11 in 2 days.
Yes if your on 24/7 but sorry that seems unlikely.
I think nades are horrible.
They take too long to level up.
One of my friends was very lucky when nade rep was good. He mastered it fast.

Kingshead is worthless for me now. If I use the nades on the navy(group of) then i get about 19 rep.
I can get 20 rep from other enemies one at a time which goes by faster. Now if there was a bigger group of nav, say high levels, then I would do that.

It pretty easy to get to level 11 in 2 days without intensive work. I would guess it took me about 4 hours to get there, and since I hadn't worked my pearl quest I didn't have rep problems until lvl 14 or 15.

It occurs to me that everyone here is missing the point about "Nades." All of you are looking at them as an offensive weapon instead of a passive healer.

The point being that at level 6 you get the "Determination" unlock. Toss saved skill points here and watch your heal speed increase ALL THE TIME.

Try looking beyond the instant gratification of objects and try to find their long term passive effects, you will get to level 40 much faster that way.

Sorry, but I must disagree. When I fully mastered my pirate, I had to master 'nades - yes I maxed out most of the 'nade passives. The passives are a good thing about grenades, but that does not offset their numerous unpleasant qualities.

The passive skills that come with nades are helpful. However if we are to take passive skills of each weapon into account as well in determining the "worst weapon", passives being the grenades only saving grace, would still not be enough.

So with that being said, I must agree with Edward.

As a weapon, taking passives into consideration, grenades are still the most useless (ie worst).
They 'could' be much more useful if scenarios where they were required were written into the game, but they are not.

Grenades are the worst weapon by far. It would be better if you could just brawl with the enemy. Then you could have like "fist of fury" or "lightning punch" or "combo punch" as different things you could use.

Grenades are useless. Wouldn't bother me at all if they done away with them.

I dont care for either but at least with the grenades you arent so dependent on others to level. To level the cannon you either have to glitch and park and shoot - park and shoot etc. or spend a LOT of time on somebody elses boat who is more interested in getting the perfect shot from broadsides than you taking out the enemy with fury because your there on board actually stealing their rep.
