Who was it that complained that Cuba was too far out there? Anyone?
Sure it was a treacherous sail at times, but isn't that part of playing the game? I don't remember having trouble eventually getting there as a wee pirate (done it three times now); and part of the journey there for the doll quest was learning how to sail better or make friends with someone who could teleport. People are becoming too "everything in an instant."

With my first pirate, getting to Cuba the first time was a challenge, but really, isn't the game supposed to be challenging?? I remember sailing my light sloop through all that stuff, fingers crossed, hoping not to get sunk... It was one of the best parts of the game, early on.
They do seem to be making everything easier. Has anyone done the tp to padres quest recently? I seem to remember with my first pirate that I had to get raiders for that one, which I could not do alone and had to get help with. When I did it with my second pirate, the raider part was gone., and I did the whole quest by myself, in about 3 minutes. Umm, Disney? Some of us like challenges!

They should move perdida too. And I have a pretty good idea... when u launch u should be able to pick where u come out of... like a mini map of cuba and u just click the spot u want ur boat to be. That is with any island!

Maybe they could add some occult voodoo magic to to oceans - have all the island start moving around randomly, once a day. Navigating the seas in those days was a matter of luck and black magic, was it not? Charts? Maps? Bah! They were wrong most of the time, anyhow!

I like that idea....or maybe just put your boat out where the dock actually is instead of the same location no matter where you dingy out from.
