A question to those who will be attending, will you be bringing pirates of appropriate level for the location? What I mean is, are we going to be seeing notoriety 40+ pirates beating up on level 6-10 skeletons that will be killed within a split second of encountering?

Just wondering. Seeing how the skeletons in Thieves Den are concentrated in the center near the one waterfall, it seems this will mostly be a slaughter of Navy and EITC while making your way to 7 skeletons that inhabit this cave.

Granted this is the only cave Tortuga has, it seems that Rats Nest would have been a much better place to go to take out Jolly's skeleton army on Tortuga. At least there, the mobs range from 6-23 (with a boss included in the mix).

Eh, just some rum for thought.

This was exactly my first thought when I saw this "news".
It is bad enough on a beach in a very open area, what now in a confined cavern tunnel?
Good grief.

James,

I have had the SAME HAT, SAME SHIPS for OVER A YEAR! And I would LOVE new ones, believe me. And maybe thats part of the problem is that this team may be trying to something in all directions at once.

And none of us have any idea how hard doing this stuff could be.

Personally, I feel like new storyline wouldn't be as hard as new features. After all, quests can include going places and fighting enemies that are already there. Adding cinematic breaks may be the pain there - along with actually crafting where the story is going to go.

If Disney is having trouble with Bruckheimer's company trying to get the 4th into production, that might affect canon and where the story will eventually go.

To anyone who has attended this event...are the GMs meeting at the Tortuga Graveyard entrance to the Thieves Den?

Thank you.

Not sure, since the one I went to I arrived late by a tp, but they do begin in the northern part of the cave.

They have turned up in various locations at the ones I've been to. Had them start off in Wildwoods at the entrance to Thieves Den a couple of times and the last one I went to last night, the GM took us through Misty Mire to the Rats Nest for the event and not into the caves at all. That makes more sense due to the small amount of skeletons in the caves on Tortuga.

Captain Rott and other members of the Casa de Muertos have been turning up at the events as well. Kinda fun watching the GMs knock each other out.
