If any of you keep up with Drake's blog, you'll know he released 3 new songs for download on Saturday night. Free Spirit is blowing up on social sites but my personal favorite is Club Paradise, which is probably the best song Drake has ever put out IMO. Love itttt. Oh btw, Universal took down the download links as per usual but you should be able to find the songs on YouTube

Remember how I said I used to like a little Gaga?
Well, it's become a lot of Gaga.  I've just found myself to be one who can grow attached to a lot of her songs over time, though if I had to choose a few favorites, they'd be "So Happy I Could Die," "The Edge of Glory," "Marry the Night,"..... and a certain song I can't exactly name on here, in the instance somebody here speaks German. Whoa Del, thats a totally new side of you.. Are you sure this is the same Del I know? I'll have to check my logs for some un-Del like activity.
 Just kidding.Anyways, back to the topic.. Personally, I love rock. I kinda have been brought up with it. So, yeah. Rock is my thing. I think personally I like Sum41, KISS, Green Day, Linkin Park, AC/DC, Slipknot. Of course, those are quite a mix, but you know what I mean. |

Flogging Molly is fun. Love Irish punk.
But yes, I love punk and I love grundge (total 90's pirate here). Ska is great too. The band I enjoy that is out these days is Authority Zero. Fast and a lot of heavy bass. Forget the guitar solos. That died with the 80's. Last edited by Mia Lightning; 11-07-2011 at 07:32 PM.. |

Hmmm... it's actually very hard for me to say because I listen to soundtrack music, some country, some Irish folk, some Canadian Francophone, some Alternate, some rock... etc. (yes... I know... a lot xD) But I have to say that a few of my current favourites are Karkwa (Francophone), Arcade Fire (Alternate), and Coldplay (Alternate Rock?/ Rock). The first two (Karkwa and Arcade Fire) happen to be Canadian.

J. Cole's album Cole Word: The Sideline Story is really really good. Big Drake fan but Nicki Minaj kinda ruins his song Make Me Proud. Another Drake song The Real Her leaked last week and it's good but again, the Wayne feature kinda ruins it for me. Also been listening to The Weeknd a lot, it's weird but I'd recommend the song The Birds Part 1 and if you like that, you can download his two mixtapes for free on his website. Other than that... just waiting for Take Care to come out Nov 15.

Take Care leaked last night but it's missing the last track and the two bonus tracks. Really really good. Definitely gonna buy it when it actually comes out.

I like various artists from a variety of genres but i'm mostly into progressive metal.
It's always been hard for me to pick a favorite band until i discovered Opeth about 10 years ago.
