Hey guys, I understand WHAT yer trying to do, I'm just surprised you think it will work, especially after 8 days and only three people writing back and forth on this thread.

I get that you are trying to band a bunch of guilds together--but why would any guild WANT to do that? Seriously--what's in it for me and my guild? Why would PIC, always at the top of the Leaderboards, want to be a part of your "Empire?"

Kingshead? You guys don't actually own it--you just say you do. I can go there any time I want on any server. As far as I can tell, you are offering nothing but the opportunity for established guilds to be lorded over by you.

Seems to me like we've got a SMALL group of people that are not finding enough enjoyment from the available content in the game. I can understand and appreciate that. Also it seems to me that we have some people that REALLY want to be in charge of something and have devised a new way of trying to do it.

Mates, if ye can't get a decent guild going, then why would you expect to be able to control multiple established guilds?

Please guys, if POTCO doesn't have enough content for you, take a look at Pirates of the Burning Sea. You might enjoy that more.

First off, Bart, in the post before you, didn't CaptainGreenee state that this really isn't an Empire, but an Alliance of different guilds. Just because it says "Empire" in the name, it doesn't mean it is one, its just a name. Second off, we aren't forcing or as you put, lording others over to us, but only welcoming them with open arms asking them if they want to join, or not. If a guild doesn't want to join, they don't have to. Third off, if we don't enjoy the content of this game, why would we have joined a whole seperate website on DISCUSSING the game. We are just trying to enhance the gaming experience, just as other pirates have so called "weddings", its only for fun. Fourth off, we aren't saying we own Kingshead, but saying that it is our main place where we can hang out, like Abassa Tortuga, and hold events for our alliance. And by the way, its says you think we are trying to control multiple guilds. We are not. We are trying to join together with them for more fun. Its just like a large group of friends. POTCO has enough content for us Bart, but maybe it would be fun to maybe take the game and look at it in a whole different kind of view. You know what that is called? Imagination, which is the one thing that fuels this whole game, in fact, it fuels everything. So maybe now you can understand, or will you guys continue to mock us? It is for you to decide. I don't want the Mods to get invloved in this, so lets just end this on a kind note. Good day.

I couldnt have put this better myself, this is exactly where I saw this going.

I personally have no interest in an organization that takes on inexperienced individual and places them at the very top of the heirarchy in a position that supposedly can never be equalled or surpassed by his/her peers. To "make" oneself the ultimate command in any alliance is.. well ludicrous. Such a heirarchy should be determined BY the alliance, not by one person.

I can appreciate attempting to use your imaginations to extend the game.
But others will continue to play the game outside your "imagination".

Getting mad at others claiming you own kingstown etc gets real old.. everyone is not playing your imagination game, you cant force it on them.

you know thats why i have pretty much quit the game. i barly come on anymore. so really, stop insuting us. i am just annoyed. and potbs is like, $15 a month. im making my own games. see the smile thread.

What ever you wish to do is fine with me, Zeppers. You don't want to join us, fine with me. But you don't have to insult us about it. If it wasn't for the imagination of other people, this game wouldn't exist all together. So maybe when people try to make their own fun in the game instead of waiting for the creators to come out with more content, maybe you should admire them, not insult them, by trying to possibly entertain themselves when that is the only thing they can do because maybe they are fully mastered, or it is raining outside, instead of standing in the middle of Abassa Tortuga making fun of levels lower than themselves. It could be fun to others, and not fun to others. The only thing you can say that is fact is that those people are creative, and that is the truth. Now please, can we end this and get back to just having fun?

Mates, I have joined in on these types of threads in very particular cicumstances--when somebody asks why it's not working.

I know I am a blunt person. I don't feel like apologizing for that as I actually consider it a quality. People rarely have to guess what I am really saying/writing.

So along those lines, I don't jump in on threads like these UNTIL somebody starts asking why it's not working. I can answer why it's not working for me, and why I would imagine it's not working for others.

I wrote earlier that it might seem rude, and I'm sorry that you took it that way. I have nothing against imagination. I have nothing against you guys trying to breathe some life into the game. But when you are on a forum like this, trying to recruit people, not getting people recruited, and then questioning why, I'll answer. That's what these forums are about.

The old saying still holds true:

I agree with Bart. If people want to join ur little "empire", so be it. they can join u if they like. If someone doesnt want to, for heaven sakes people, it not the end of the world. Just a little tip, don't push it onto people. If u pushed it onto me, i'd tell u flat out no. If i join a guil or a group, my main and only purpose is to have fun. BBK, i feel, is one of the very few guilds that get along. I get alot of people asking if i am happy with my guild, trying to get me to jump. I am VERY HAPPY with my guild, so plz quit trying to make me jump. If u want join Krewe, well kool, we'd be happy to have u, just dont cause trouble. I have also been told that the Krewe rocks more than their own guild. Why???? Because we make the game fun, jsut by doing things as a GROUP. If a new member has joined, everyone on jumps to help out. This is just a game. If u dont like how the game is going, then plz go elsewhere. Plz stop wasting all of our time that enjoy playing this game!!
