There are 8 people signed up for the PvP touney tomorrow night, so far.

I'd like to see at least a few more get involved.

Here's how it will work.

We will be using either the guild main server or the backup, whichever is less crowded.

I have printed out Tournament bracket forms for a single elimination tourney. The people who are going to participate will be seeded by me drawing names from the list at random. I will call out the names of two pirates, and they will go to PvP one-on-one. Once they are gone, I will call out two more names. This should ensure that the right 2 people go each time.

When you finish the PvP match, tell me who won. That person moves on to the next challenge. The loser is out. (Single elimination.)

I will follow the standard bracketing list until there are only 2 people left.. They will challenge each other and there will be a winner.

We have never done this before, so don't yell at me if it doesn't work. I have bracket lists for anywhere from 8 to 64 pirates, so we should be covered no matter how many participate.

Okay - sounds like none of us are much on PvP, but can we establish some things up front? Like are any and all weapons allowed? Jumping? Any no-no's? I just don't want to do something wrong out of ignorance.

OK, Rules for the actual PvP.

Feet have to stay planted on the ground!

Weapons, all weapons are eligible, but each pirate is only allowed to use 2 diffrerent weapons per battle.

eg.
TK and Sarah go to PvP. TK starts with nades for disrance, and switches to Cutlass for inclose. Sarah runs, TK can go back to nades, but cannot use staff, since that would be her third weapon.

Now, assume that TK wins and goes on to fight Char in round 2. TK can use any two weapons, since it's a new opponent.

At least Juanito Sanchez Manuel Gustavo Beneficio Diego Eduardo Roberto Victorio de La Vega is a big pirate. Little me dies very quickly. Not that I'm complaining. Won't be a spoil-sport, my daughter does that enough that I've gotten sick of it.

Basil, hate to say this, but can I be moved to the 'Possibility' list? I now may not be able to make it to guild night. Hopefully I can, but I can't be sure.

Ok I have a question... There is a glitch where sometimes you cant see yourself, are we allowed to kill ourselves with seige/ desolation to fix it, or do we just fight blind? For those who dont know this glitch, sometimes when you go into pvp you cant see yourself, like you are looking through your pirates eyes, once you die it goes back to normal. TK
