again, i run around looking for a blatant dirt x in the middle of a green field, dig it up, take the coin and pay it to tia dalma (who is irritated at having been siege charged, but is otherwise undamaged) to revive my captain. (Barbossa, yes, charlotte is part of his crew.)

I call a plumber and get the coin back after soaking it in disinfectant for three days. then i hide it somewhere in a venice library that was once a church, and only leave the clues in the form of roman numerals: III, VII and X. lets see who can tell me which movie thats from?

I raid all of the Venice libraries and eventually find the coin. Then, I clean it and bury it in an undisclosed location 100 feet below the ground.
