Secret Meetings
Devils Anvil, such a desolate piece of rock. Why Barbossa would hole up there is beyond me.
I am to meet up with the head wench of our Lordship this day. She is willing to finance the mutiny that the wenches and I have planned. Tis a good day to have this secret meeting for one of the wenches known as Breezy has hexed the Lordship's ship and he is unable to set sail. It has frustrated our Lordship to no end for he cannot understand why he cannot take to the sea. As I pace up and down the docks of Port Royal waiting for the sun to set I grow inpatient as each minute passes. My twin, Amelia, says I have a restless soul and to this I agree. Amelia wanted to come but I fear it is far too dangerous in what I am about to do. The other wenches understand as well. They will keep his Lordship busy as I take sail on this moonless, dark night. Oh, will the night ever come I wonder as I watch the sun set upon the sea. I fear this Meghan Plunderette will not wait much longer for me if I do not set sail soon. But I have to be careful in what I do. One terrible mistake on my part will undo us all. Aye, there are many lives at stake here....Roxy, Baylona, the little lass Molly, Breezy, and lastly my beloved twin, Amelia. Everything must come down perfectly for the Lord's wrath is great! He has grown more arrogant these past few weeks. He is getting just a little too high and mighty as he struts up and down the shores of Padres Del Fuego. He says he is looking for fresh wenches. Ooh, he just infuriates me so. I would love to run him through with my cutlass. But Amelia says the Lord would give me a taste of the cat. Finally, it is time to set sail to meet this Meghan Plunderette. I pray this isn't a ruse. Baylona has stolen the Lordship's ship....again! She loves to sail the seven seas but I am afraid if she continues to do so our Lord and Master will soon find out what she has been doing and do away with her. For now, Breezy, has made it to where I can sail without the curse and I set my sights on Devils Anvil with vengenance in my heart. The Sea Goddess rises within me as I feel the cool sea breeze blow thru my hair and smell the sweetness of the sea. I hear the waves slapping across the hull of the Dark Water Dragon as I bear down upon Devils Anvil. I soon spy a distant light on the shores of Devils Anvil. I pray it is this Meghan Plunderette, the wife of our Master, the scourge of the seven seas. Eventually, I drop anchor in the choppy sea and as I lower the dinghy to the dark waters below I notice a lone sloop off to the side of the Dark Water Dragon. Seems so small in comparison to our Lord and Master's ship but size matters not it is the captain of the ship that matters most. I lower myself down into the dinghy and proceeded to row to shore toward the welcoming light I spied earlier. I am most thankful I brought my double barrel pistol and cutlass for this island is filled with vicious crabs and scorpions. I will come ashore just a little further down from the light. I must be sure this is the Master's wife first and as well to see this isn't some piece of trickery on the Lord's part. Finally, I come upon the shoreline. I jump out of the dinghy and into the water to pull it upon the shore. Thank goodness I wore my high boots for the sea is cold this night. I take a deep breath as I pull my pistol from my belt and start toward the nearest rock to hide behind. I must watch for awhile just to be sure. I will only use my pistol as a last resort for I do not want to draw attention to myself just yet. Maybe I better use my cutlass for now. I placed pistol back into my belt and drew my cutlass from my side. As I neared the rock a couple of crabs proceeded to attack me. I took them down swiftly and quietly. As I knelt behind the rock and looked to the fire I soon spied the lone female sitting and eating. As I watched her I realized how beautiful she was with her red hair glowing in the fire light. She soon stood and began to pace about the small area. She seemed to be anxious or perhaps fearful of what was about to become the most mutinous of all mutinies. Aye, but can I trust her is the question. As eager as I was to begin this meeting I held back to watch a little longer. Patience is a virtue my twin always says! That is the one thing that I have little of I am afraid. My Lord and Master says that I am too bold and have a viper's tongue to boot! But we shall see, oh, Lord and Master, the scourge of the seven seas. We shall just see. Once I see the coast is clear I shall approach this Meghan Plunderette and the plan shall begin to bring this bilge water rat down to his knees for once and for all. But for now I shall just wait and watch. *This is just a series I started last year in my first guild. If anyone wants to hear the rest I will continue to add more to the storyline. Thanks.
