Double Rep

Here is an odd one to ponder... The other night I was playing with a couple friends... we were out sailing and all of us got a message telling us we had earned a double rep award. For about 5 minutes we were all getting double rep... then just as mystertiously as it came it went. But off and on for about an hour we were all getting really odd rep for what we were sinking...
Granted it was really nice, and having another double rep weekend or a double gold weekend would be really cool to have soon... this was just really odd...
