Remi's Caribbean Adventure, Part I

Intro

First time posting to this Forum - I wanted to be able to CONTRIBUTE something when I finally went active.

I'm Remi Boncoeur, guildmaster of Square & Compass (Pirate Guild 267 if you look us up on XD)

And, here's my work...

Basically, it all stated when I turned 40 (in game.):

I needed something to do, besides levelling those wretched grenades. So, I embarked on a Caribbean Adventure. Essentially, I've gone to every island to look for bugs/glitches, as well as plain and silly photo ops. Here's my set of "vacation
photos."

Never one to give away all of my secrets, I won't be saying how I pulled off each photo - some of them have already been given away on this site, and really it's going to be more fun for you to try them out on your own.

I wasn't sure where to post this, since a lot of these shots are considered "glitches" ... but, since quite a few are just interesting/amusing shots, here we are in "screenshots."

SIDE NOTE: I've done my best to NOT edit these photos in any way, with only one exception - on the "Ms. Swann" pic, I've edited out the dialogue in an effort to keep other pirate names out of this posting.

ALSO, I didn't post a pic of every single time I found a way outside of an area, or inside a tree or bush... I'm frankly worried it's already a little too repetitive. Just spare us all from the "you didn't go behind the bar there!" or "ha! you didn't hide in that house!" I probably did... but congrats on finding it, too!

Without further ado, my vacation photos (with semi-amusing captions):

Port Royal

I decided to start out where the whole adventure began... Port Royal.

First things first, I wanted to meet up with the old friends who'd helped me along the

way. Off I went to Ms. Swann's house - unfortunately, I stumbled through her fountain

along the way to the mansion...

She must not have been amused, since she did her best Donald Trump impression:

Next up was Will Turner, but he was too busy to talk.

The only person who really had time for me was the one who REALLY taught me

swordfighting!

Keep in mind that, as an occasionally-undead pirate, I needed to keep a low profile on

this vacation:

Despite any navy hostility, I tried to do the touristy things: See the local sites,

art, and history across the landscape...

The morbid side of me decided to visit some old friends, too.

Of course, weird things seemed to start after the graveyard. First off, the caves held

hidden treasures like solitary mine carts and ocean-front views:

In a different cave, I wanted a picture with the big skull-spider-thing, but the undead

witchdoctors kept messing up the shot. Instead, I had to stand inside the mountain and

take a shot of it from behind...

While I was there, I thought I'd try to pay back Jolly Roger for all of his unkindness -

he wasn't fazed, sadly.

UFOs disguised as shrubbery?

Nothing much left to do here, aside from experience the open plains and hollow hedges:

I stopped in at the gypsy cart, and heard about some new shops opening up, selling

jewelry and clothing!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like they're open yet.

"Maybe there are new shops in Tortuga... I could use a bigger hat."
