While grenades can be quite tiresome on your first pirate, most people need to make those same mistakes to learn why people here say over and over, to master grenades first. Once you understand how to level grenades, you'll find you can go from level 22/23 to level 25 in a couple hours. Two hours...three hours tops.

If you can't do it in that sort of time-frame, then you're not doing it right. So perhaps you are better off learning the hard way...at least until you go back and read the guide, to stop making it so difficult for yourself.

There s no way any one could do that. To go from level 23 to level 25 requires a minimum of 103 kills with a minimum of 25 grenades per kill. to do that you would have to average 1 kill every 1.75 minutes.

The only way I can think of that someone might be able to do it this fast would be to go to Tormenta with a crew large enough for max crew bonus. At least one very strong healer and another person taking out the seabeards or whatever that will attack you uninvited. Not a likely scenario.

If there is a "right way" to do the last 2 levels (never mind 3) of grenades in 3 hrs or less I'd love to see the guide on exactly how its done and nobody could do it better then you Ed.

BTW, I have read the excellent guides you linked to and I only have one point on each of my grenade types. I'll save my rant about grenades for another time, except to say that no matter how you do it, it's a long grueling ordeal unlike any other weapon. There are good reasons why most people hate them.
