HIGHER NOTOR! At least. More weapons levels! Grinding weapons isnt much, but its SOMETHING.

Longterm players are feeling disregarded. Disney could care less if we have nothing to do - which is a SERIOUS issue - since eventually most new players WILL master, and then get bored.
I've been playing since Beta 2, and now that you mention it, I do feel disregarded. If you don't count the higher level weapons, almost everything they've done this year hasn't benefited higher level players.

Events... the GMs should be paid Disney staff and not the developers, because if they're the developers the events waste their time. Why have they been working on more events than content? Are there more players out there that want events and not content?

When my subscription needs to be renewed I will pay one more time, but if nothing decent comes, I'll go basic. Why waste my money if they have done nothing for us higher level players? There's the enemy aggression changes, which I find useless when doing anything. They change enemy locations, again, useless. Have they added in new islands, the second story quest, or any decent content to keep us busy?

If you make a crew with a random person who says they'll revive you, don't expect them to. You can't just go up to a random person and buddy up, thinking they'll do what they say. You do not know this person enough to trust them. If you have a situation like this it is your fault. Not everyone in pirates is honest, and it's worse in the real world.

If you're a more experienced Pirate, set a good example for Pirates new to the Caribbean. Don't leave these new Pirates stranded in battle - that's not very welcoming! We need to build our ranks mates, not run off those that want to join us!
Yes, I will, if they ask nicely and if I'm in a good mood. I'm not going to waste a tonic just because Disney expects me to. I'm not going to revive someone when they demand it, especially when they aren't in a position to demand anything.

This news is the worst I've ever heard from an online game. Since 2003, toontown has given its' players some news to keep us busy, but not as absurd as this. The revive system does not need to be in the game, and telling someone they have to use it to help new players is ridiculous.

I agree, but it is obvious that Disney is unconcerned about the retention of established accounts. If most of the changes seem designed to attract new players, it's because Disney has decided that is where the money is.

As with any computer game, there is an expected fall off of interest as time passes. I am sure Disney keeps meticulous records about account start and end dates, and I'm sure they do studies to determine where to spend their development dollars.
