Most computers that can play the game already have it anyway. Leaving it simple, and in mine words:The launhcer cant run on its own, and it needs something to back it up, and framework is a support/backup file. To leave it simple, it might help you stay a little longer

Not true, its not on my XP machines at home on purpose unless POTCO installed it without telling me or listing it in the installed program/update area of Windows.

Andrew, if I may ask, what is your source of information?

I have found from my occupation (computer support specialist) that, most applications requiring .net framework have it listed as a system requirement, and POTCO does not.

IE7 I do believe requires it, and that may be where many systems get it these days. (I do not use IE7)
