The revive feature has turned the game into more of a nuisance for advanced players because the smaller pirates are even braver than before, and now EXPECT to be revived simply for being near you. They need a new speedchat phrase, which would be my fave.. "Sorry, im out of tonics"

I do usually revive these little pirates once, but if they obviously do not learn from the venture, then im as I said above "out of tonics".

Added: Remember the one of the ole pirate traditions mates... RUNNING! and thats what those lil pirates should do after being struck down once by an enemy to big for them, high level pirate in vacinity or not!

AYE, i dont like this, what a waste of news d. where are the "have you ever been cheated in svs? report your encounter here" theres OBVIOUSLY more of that than this

Its the way Disney approachs things at times that seem not to help their situation, but actually "throw gas on the fire" so to speak.

Although I agree with their message, I feel that they failed to see (or represent) both sides of the dubloon here, and remind these pirates having problems to be polite, etc. When your controlling a multilane highway... like Disney is, you dont focus on one lane.

Bless Disney overall though, seems they are constantly trying to improve the game, I just dont agree with all their actions.

I did see the statement as humorous, from the fact they published the comment as it stands.


Added: The reason I took the standpoint of the other side of the coin with their statement is that I have not witnessed what they were speaking against in a single instance, but have seen the other side of the coin, pirates taking advantage of others begging to be revived, where common sense would dictate they should not have been in the first place. I just never saw it important enough to file any official complaints on. I simply say im out of tonics after the one courtesy revive.

Um, when Im on my lower level pirates, Im not spending money to revive strangers. Which is why I keep my crew to those Im friends with. I didnt know being social and unpiratelike was a necessity. Sigh....

Who ever said you had to revive someone in the first place? If I don't know them, I'm not going to take the time and waste one of my tonics on them. I'm not going to laugh at them, but I'm sure not going to take pitty on them either.

I've died many a time before this new revive system came in and I'm not going to baby the new pirates either. Now if you're with a group of friends, I can understand reviving each other so you can defeat the higher level enemies. I will NEVER revive someone that expects me to.

If I feel in the mood, I will revive someone if they've asked nicely. But when someone tells me, "Revive me now." I'm not going to give them anything. I have had that happen to me a few times already since the revive system was released and it's annoying. Demanding is not the way to get people to revive you, especially since you're not in the position to demand anything.

This is news I would "expect" from them.

OK. So if a pirate doesn't revive me, I report that pirate? Really? In 18 months of this game (or so) I have died a few times...OK. More than a few. Now that we have a revive system, NOT using it is something Disney needs to hear about? Are they going to make it one of the buttons on the "Report a Pirate" thing? Right under rudeness... "Was selfish with tonics"

Well I think this is all the baby pirates and younger players complaining to the website about this. Older and more experienced players would not/ should not think of this. Its a new addition, not a new necessity. I could manage fine on my own before this feature and so could everyone else. Big deal if they go to jail..... wouldnt ye have done tht anway a few months back??

Arggh, Disney, Disney, Disney.............. ye are soo creative when it comes to news. I guess since they really arent DOING anything that they figure, "Everyone listen, we need to think of this weeks news! Anyone?" asks a dev anxiously
