Thank you, I have the e-GeForce FX 5500. I did some research and found out it had to do with 1 of the drivers.
I reloaded the CD and now it is working like a charm. I wasn't totally without the ability to play. The day before yesterday my new laptop arrived  irate.smiley.capta It is a vista and I downloaded the launcher. That was running great too. But I wanted to be able to use it on the desktop also. BTW : I love the way the beta 2 is working. I have not had any lag yet. I do love the way we dig up the buried treasure though. They need to turn that shovel around lol |

Is the only way to play if u get an e-mail with a beta key number?????

I got an e-mail from the staff wondering why I hadn't recieved a beta key, or when could I expect to get one if I was to get one at all, the reply was this, more or less:
When you sign up to be a beta tester, you are put on a waiting list and you must wait to be accepted. We accept these people as needed, so please be patient.
