POTC 4 aiming for 2012 release

TSC - I hear you. I will say, in JD's defense, that Ted and Terry (the writers) were writing the script "on the fly" for 2 and 3. The advantage for this 4th movie is that they have had plenty of advance notice and are already working on the script.

I think we can expect something closer to POTC 1 in this 4th installment simply because the writers have more prep time. Also, Bruckheimer got an earful about CGI overriding story, particularly in POTC 3. So I think you can look for them to back off the special effects in 4 and go back to the basic storytelling that we enjoyed in Curse of the Black Pearl.

At least that's what I'm lulling meself to sleep with. LOL.
