Can't log in?

I just got home today to find I can't log onto Pirates... When I try to log in the screen freezes up for a bit, then the bug page and the log in page reappear. On the log in page there is a message that says "POTCO encountered....."

Any help appreciated.

Alot of people have been having problems with the new graphics code/setup in latest update. The following is a guide that may be helpful, if you have not tried these options yet.

Thank you but nothing worked. Even tried setting it manually.

Anyone have this problem and have any advice?

Try live chat support. They will be able to ask pertinent questions about your particular setup and can check many more things than anyone here on the forums can guess at.

Ok find the following lines and modify them accordingly;
state
working
api
default
texture_compression
0

JAMES:Correct, save the changes and try logging in for me.

JAMES:Be sure not to change anything under Graphics Options

Thanks for all your help, but I finally figured out the problem was caused by a family safety program I recentrly installed on my computer. Glad to be on again!
