SPEED - Bug or not? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

So I was sailing and boom! -300 speed. And I cant fix it. Now Im swiming with light frigade without sails. So I bough a sloop (not light one) and same. Speed is decreesing and I cant fix it

so ship will be for few hours and I will have to buy new one.

I have the same bug, I filed a bug report to the developer's. I would suggest you do the same if you haven't done so, since the more people the file the bug, the more of a priority it will be given.

same problem here, and I am always on fire and I have no mast or sail. Other than that my ship is fine.

well i havnt tried sailing ever since they fixed the "bug" for running really fast and jumping really high. it might be because the fixed the "bug". so now u might have to just live with it. =\

Well Im working on my game and fixing bugs by me own. POTCO has many programers... It will be easy to fix the BuG

well they are not fixing it... I have reported this 3 days ago... NOTHING.

No word in 3 days and this means to you that it is not going to be fixed? Man some online have no patience what so ever. This is beta and lots of bugs may get fixed fast while others take more time as perhaps they are part of a larger change in the game.

Who knows, the ships now still show damage after repairs and the more damage you get over time the worse your boat gets. Mine just lost its final sail today (galleon). Either this is a really odd bug or perhaps they are adding a system for damage like this. Maybe you will have to buy new sails and pay more for full hull work. We have no idea what direction this is all going in.

All we can do as beta testers is test things out and report the findings and let things go in the direction the development team decides on.
