And that is one of the things I do not understand either Poison elf: what is the point of glitching to work grenades when it is so difficult to re-ammo and get back to your spot(s)? It just makes more sense to me that you would either team up with other pirates, or run two linked accounts to heal yourself and use the healer as a tp mule. The glitchers are not gaining anything by glitching, which makes it doubly confounding.
I dunno if Darkhart is a glitch or not, but sure is nice to have since they 'fixed' Hex. I use Timothy Dartan as well, but only when I don't want to change servers. Since he is a voodoo user, it is more fun to try and keep from going to jail. It gets old and boring standing there launching ranged attacks at Darkhart. The same with Glitching to become invincible: it takes away the excitement of having to worry about going to jail, which to me is part of the fun (ie; avoiding jail). |

Well, yes, Darkheart is a glitch. You can see he means to attack with cutlass, but doesn't/can't.
Are green-people healers a glitch? Without any associated time before you can do it again, I'm inclined to say that it is a glitch. If it had a recharge time similar to tonics, then maybe. Also, the fact that most people don't know its there (because you can't get healing when at full health, so it doesn't even give you that menu) means that it is a sly trick only for those in-the-know. I'm not too concerned about grenades not having a free ammo type. The game progresses and gets more complicated/harder as you go. Having an entire weapon class that requires you to be social, is a good thing. Having reputation being so subtractive when you have cooperation, ironically, hamstrings the game. Well, anyhow, FWIW, I never used hex-eater on the veterans at Kingshead. :-) |
