Unlimited Access changed to Basic

I was switched to Basic by the powers that be as where my friends. While I understand that part because it is Beta testing, what I wonder is how many people are actually playing that are now Basic?

I was lvl 20 when this happened and of course everything is locked.

In order to do a proper test, I did create a new character.

The question is I have hardly seen any Basic characters online. It appears that only unlimited pirates are playing.

Anyone else notice this or was made Basic? If so are you playing?

Yeah my account was made basic as well. I try to play as much as possible to help with further testing.. but its either I get kicked off every 5 mins or the ads are just messing up game play so much to the point where you're completely frustrated.

I've also noticed that there's mostly unlimited members playing now. It feels like not many people would want to play their characters on basic because of all their tasks & weapons being locked. But even then, you can still continue using your weapons & still gain experience points. Also you can return your completed tasks but not complete locked tasks. And you can still level up the character itself by taking down ships with friends. I mean its not completely hopeless.

But besides all that. The real main thing with me is the frustration of the whole game closing itself with no error warnings or the ads freezing your screen during battle on land & especially on ship. I've reported it many times. I do hope they fix it. If not, I don't see the point in free play existing very long.

I am a basic tester now and I have noticed there's ALOT more unlimited players than basic, which I think is sort of unfair at the time. I think they should make EVERYBODY be basic to test it out, not switch it all the time, because I have to make another account, that's not the problem, it's after I make my new pirate the game freezes and closes out.

I am now on basic access too .

the basic game is okay and I didn't really have problems but I couldn't stand to play for long as I couldn't do my quests as I needed to play blackjack and it is locked out also so many things are not allowed in free access

also I had to mess about for ages to get the screen to look right as it was supposed to be 800 * 600 but was too big and when I changed resolution to 1024 the screen wouldn't fit until I made it 800*600 and the it was really irritating as I like to play in full screen

also although i'm only lvl 12 it has taken me three weeks and there is no way i'm going to start a new character so unless I do get switched back soon I will probably just stop playing till the paid version comes out :h-frwn:

i understand everyones opinions but for those of us here that were testers from phase one we spent a few months testing the basic version and then about a month before the phase ended we got switched to unlimited. so basically i see nothing unfair because many of us suffered through the basic ad supported version when the game was in much worse shape heck now the basic testers have it easy it won't be long before the games release and you will then be able to get unlimited access back..
