Recommendations for Game Controllers ??
Now I am not very technical so I don't even know if I am calling it the right name.. but does anyone have any recommendations for game controllers or anything of the such? You know.. controllers besides the keyboard. I have an Macbook Pro and I don't know if that affects what kind I can buy.. but if anyone uses one or knows of a good one can you please post the name below?

Not particularly familiar with any particular game controllers that work with Macs.
If its for playing POTCO, since the game does not allow you to map/bind keys/controller buttons, make sure the game controller comes with software so you can map computer keystroke combinations to the controller buttons. |

You can purchase Keyboards and a few Controllers which actually allow you to Map Keys (make any key on the keyboard work the way you want in the game - so for example M is for your Map Page under your Treasure Chest - but with a Mapping Keyboard / Controller you could change that to whatever key you want.) Because the game does not allow for you to assign functions to any key you want (hence M for Map you cannot change in the game) - some specual Keyboards and Controllers come with extra software that allow you to do this. Sorry though - I don't own a MAC and don't own a Mapping KB / Controller either - so I can't help ya on a suggestion

Some controllers come with software so you can program the controllers buttons instead. So you can instruct the controller to simulate a keyboard function when pressing a controller button. Like setting a controller button to be the same as pressing the letter "r" for run. So you could press the controller button, and pirate runs. |

oh.. okay.. so in other words, if i wanted to get a controller or this key mapping thing, i need the software because POTCO doesn't allow it. Like where if i bought a game from the store it would just pick it up.. but since pirates doesn't i need to buy one with included software.
