Need Help! - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

I am doing the quest where we have to find Captain Barbossa. I found him but I CAN'T SEEM TO "Return" back to him. I AM STUCK. There is a little monkey I guess I have to kill. Anyone wanna help?

You should just need to pull out your pistol with F2 and shoot the monkey, then put the pistol away with escape.

Erm. You do not have to hit the monkey? Because he says you have to hit the monkey.

Blast the monkey with your pistol. Is the problem that you're missing?

See the thing is. I did hit him. But I tried to go to the Captain and Pressed Shift and he didn't say anything.

Gosh this is so annoying . .

You weren't supposed to be able to just talk to the captain. You hit him, put the gun away, and a cutscene starts up again with you catching a coin and turning undead. You didn't see that?

I guess I didn't because this is going to be my 3rd time doing this. I will try it one more time. But the problem is that you see on the left hand side there is a box that says "Double Click the right mouse blah blah" it was still there.

Do you have a task that says that you have to return to him? The game is messing up a lot in a lot of different ways. I think they wanted to open it on a certain day and they did, even though it wasn't quite ready.

I have made 3 pirates. On all of mine, after I shot the monkey, Barbossa started talking again. Is the game freezing up on you? Or, do you think it is skipping part of the tutorial?
