Hats off to you. I haven't bothered trying to master 'nades, since hitting 40 a long time ago myself and mastering everything else... so, there is something to say about a person with perserverence.

Oh I know.. I love Boss Battles - at least I know Ill be sailing my own on my baby pirate. But, I think we will have our staffs by the time we finish the main quest. We are already level 28's and JUST started Gunners Quest - so we've been focusing on weapons more than quests. (And have done NO side quests with the exception of the two clothing ones!)

And yeah, we HATE nades... In my honest opinion, they are the most useless thing in the game. No one EVER chooses them as a weapon instinctively when fighting... they are unpredictable and expensive, and take FOREVER to level. Not to mention. EVERYTHING you battle runs up to you, therefore, you damage yourself.

I couldnt have mastered em if not for Thomas to kill time with, and the double rep points. Took us HOURS, but we wanted our pirates to be fully mastered, so we kept at it. LOL

I'd love to get some forum people together to run a few Boss Battles tho - just to see how everyone does em. I've been running them the same way since last July.... with a few very minor changes here and there!!

Congrats on the meeting and engagement, first one I've heard of in-game. Also on the Pirate Mastery. I gotta admit I use my own baby more than anything else, even if my original is not mastered yet. I absolutely HATE the grenades, as they are a drain on gold and just take HOURS to do.

That being said, Fly Traps are great for getting started, as are Witch Doctors, Gypsies and Grenadiers, IMHO.
