Well, on predictions such as this, I will use past occurrences. This being said, remember that Disney has taken longer then promised before to publish updates. So, no, I do not believe that Disney will have the updates finished by August.

Id rather have new content at this point. Anything but stuff that takes away from enjoyment, like the 'linked account improvement'. Grrrr.. Thats still a seriously sore subject with me.

I'm still rooting for the devs but... if the July 16th test update is the "big summer update" then they've really messed up.
If they want to keep players the least they have to do by the end of the year is...

Test has an update now with bigger levels and bosses. Tormenta and Outcast two places inparticular that I have explored. Seabeards up to lvl 50 I think. Mastered pirates cutlasses actually miss now and it doesnt take long for you to die! hehe. To that end we know weaponsmiths are working on the new weapons right now. I think the next update is imminent to test, and will hopefully include these new weapons, notoriety and gold increase. (well we need a suitable weapon with which to defeat these higher level foe). The revive feature is pretty cool as long as you remember to carry a few potions lol
But be patient mates. Everything comes to those who wait. And through an intercepted message in a bottle it seems the curse is making another appearance, but this time Jolly Roger will have allies.........none other than The Black Guard!! They have been warning us on previous role playing events that the Black guard have a powerful magic!! Keep your eyes peeled mates! Things are a changing! And soon!
