Quick question...about Boss Battle

You can do the bb as much as you please. It is challenging for someone around your lvl, but it is possible. All that happens is your groggy, and have to pay for more ammo, nothing out of the ordinary lol.

You can do the Boss Battle as many times as you'd like.. and no penalties. The only thing that will be different if you lose is that you will be groggy for a lil while, as if you had been sent to jail. Its certainly a challenge to attempt alone, but it really does need a crew to be accomplished. Though I do recommend trying it alone at least once.. Its pretty funny lol

I know pirates who have done the BB in a crew, who were only in their mid 20's notoriety. We did one tonight and the junior crew member was 28, and she came thru with flying colors. Doing it in a crew at your level 30 is no problem.

Now doing it solo, you may run into some difficulties. I know many level 40 pirates who can't finish it solo.

As far as punishment, there is none. If you fail, you wake up in jail, that's all.

I made sure I had mastered my sailing prior to taking on the Boss Battle, as well as having about a level 10 or so VooDoo Staff for taking on the Navy Soldiers at the start of the Boss Battle... That way I didn't have to be so picky on my crew, I done it with just some random eager pirates on Abassa server the first time I done it. You can get another person to sail for you, but I would think you would want to sail the Black Pearl yourself and win for your quest.

I'm not sure if ye can do it solo anymore. However, ye should try the Boss Battle just to see what it's like--win or lose it's a kick in the pants!

Ye can always go to the crew subforum here on POF. There's plenty of helpful people here. Just give them a time, place, and server. I bet you'll end up with a decent crew.

... There always is an option of crewing a level 2 person, then ask the to join the Boss Battle.

When you get on the ship and the navy men lvl 30+ attack the other pirate, then you'll be the only one, making you the one captaining the ship, and aiming at the bridges and the Goliath at the end

But you obviously would not be able to live with yerself after getting a friendly pirate sent to jail, even if ye are a pirate

So, ye could do what I said above with another computer/ laptop and a second pirate on a different account, living with the fact that you killed yerself 2 times because you probably wont get passed the Navy at the beginning.

Or, you could do the sensible thing, and gather up a crew of high lvl people here on the forums or out on Tortuga, and have them do it with you.
