can steer my ship

i was on my privateer and cant steer it because there is a person i cant see in my ship!!!!!! i tried everything and still i cant steer it! what is happening!!!

I know there used to be a glitch that pirates would use to board other pirates ships, and when they did so, they would in many cases be "invisible". I havent heard of this however in a very long time. I am hoping in this case it was a fluke, as many times I have tp'd to friends and I cant see them, but they can see me, etc.

If it is your ship, then you being the captain/owner should boot anyone at the helm off, when you yourself take the helm.

The you cant take the helm glitch is not new - but luckily doesnt happen often. Usually if a) someone else is on board they can dock the ship - and everything is normal again or b) log out and things are back to normal again.

There was a time when players ships would be locked on that ocean until D re-set that server - but haven't herd of that in a while with the glitch.

Oh man, remember how painful that was? Thank goodness they made that go away - I know I was NOT pleased by boarders...

Well , I had the glitch happen to me on my guilds SvS day, at least it was at the end,
but anyway a friend of mine tped to my ship right as I was about to port it, then they took a cannon and froze , it was about half a hour before they were booted and I was able to sail my beauty again.
