The only way to truly stop the macroing, harassing of other players is to have in game GMs . I really wish that Disney would do this, In another game I played, was an in game GM and the powers you had you could take reports off a que of cheating, harrasment, glitches , basically everything that would go wrong in a game.

You also had the ability to kick players and directly report the behaviors to the games paid staff.

The GMs were all player volunteers, very carefully selected through with a test and online interview with an employee of the company. Really cut down on the problems, bugs , glitches and fighting.

Wouldn't mind MORE proactive on PvP and SvS cheaters... not sure I like a GM police force running arbitrarily yanking people out.

Was bad enough when I had a ban dispute over something I said in whisper and was later acquitted of - but if someone misinterprets a public chat?

But, the PvP and SvS glitching was hitting epidemic levels.

I have a hard time believing that some of these leaderboard people do it the 'real' way. And frankly, as a GM IF they were playing the game at all hours to get these scores - they really IMO need some therapy, or a life. I mean seriously - how healthy would it be to defeat almost 20,000 in ONE day?

Reality check folks - if you are adults playing this much - its either shame on you for not spending time with family, or, get out of the house a bit if you dont have one. If they are kids, shame on their parents for letting them play that much. Otherwise, in my honest opinion - MANY of these leaderboard pirates are using glitches and macros.

Either way - its not impressive. I dont know whats worse... cheating, or not having a life.

Just something to keep in mind, there are all kinds of people that play this game with all different situations in life. Some people are home bound due to a variety of physical or mental reasons and the game is therapy for them.

Not excusing the use of outside programs or methods with some people, just cant paint them all with that broad a brush.

They had a similar sort of thing in VMK (virtual magic kingdom) the free Disney online game that is now defunct. They were called community leaders and to be honest they were useless, "toothless" and in some cases worse then the players they policed. What a horrible idea letting some players police other players. You can report players now for cheating, harassing and glitching and its Disney that isn't holding up their end of the deal and booting them. If you want to do something useful insist that Disney does what it says it will instead of adding another layer of bureaucracy to the game.

As far as play type is concerned, to each their own. You pay your monthly dues and you play any way you choose. If others don't like it they can complain to Disney and then lets let the chips fall where they may. If you get the boot, good riddance. If not play on and have fun!

The GMs in this game were hardly toothless and were very good at what they did. They had to directly report to a paid employee and were respected in the game. They were on a tight leash and if they did anything out of bounds were immediately axed.

Just because you pay for the game does not mean you don't have to follow the terms and conditions of the game. Its kinda like driving a vehicle, You pay for your drivers license but if you don't follow the rules it gets revoked.

Agreed

Agreed.. Let the police(Disney) do their job then..
Don't have players of any sort involved.
