Pirates Mythology

Here it is: all the lore and legends concerning all the Pirates of the Caribbean / Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums pirates! If you want a part inserted, post it here, especially if it is about yourself. If you have a name of questionable source, it will be used (for instance, the Firehearts will have the reason for their name answered). Ties imbetween pirates will be created conservatively, unless they are both the same account. Geneologies are somewhat fun and will be included when possible. (Zeppers begat Sarah, and Sarah begat... kidding. )

Anybody even considered a possible friend shall be inserted here regardless.

The Inestimable League, in a thrilling action story that didn't go over well with critics, was revealed to be the future persona of a boy named Willy. Willy, quite the insane boy, was revealed to have many personalities (the later source for the name League). The town he lived in grew tired of him, and lured him out. Nearly dying after being ejected, he grew harsh towards society and became a pirate, looting the coast of Europe with his crew of dogs.

His mutinous first mate, a dog who was no man's best friend, was just that: a mutinous first mate, a dog who was no man's best friend. He was stranded on an island where he had no company but himself, which was actually quite alot of company. From there, he waited years earning the sea turtles' trust before he eventually betaryed them and made a raft out of them using his back hair (see where Jack gets the story from?).

Drifting out on the sea, the Willies would later get apprehended by Davy Jones. Unfortunately for Willy, and fortunately for the free world, Willy's antics would cause him a harsh punishment. Fortunately for Willy and unfortunately for the free world, Willy proved to be a master at Pirate's Dice, cutting down the majority of his service.

From out on the sea, Willy would meet the most influential person in his life, Ms. Potatobottom (though there is quite the story behind this name, it is not involved in the Pirates Mythology). She'd teach him basic math, basic grammar, basic science, advanced calculus, Shakespearian literature and Latin, and, lastly, some helpful tricks from botany. Her fierce discipline would clear his mind of insanity, for the most part, leaving him with a personality for every situation. However, this inestimable inestimability on his part wouldn't later be seen until Ms. Potatobottom's apprehension by the EITC (really, there is quite a story behind that name), for she for the most part cured him of his bad seed.

From here on, it is hard to seperate myth from reality (even what seems to be well-decided as truth above is sketchy), but there are many tales of backstabbing Lord Cutler Beckett, Tia Dalma, and a host of many others.

Well , here is the story of Matthew Crestilver.

Long , long ago , in a small village in Syria during a warning crescent moon,
a small space asteroid came falling through the atmosphere, it was small , no more then a few inches across, and in that small coastal Syrian village a child was born as
the asteroid was seen to pass by the moon in the night sky.

No later the asteroid impacted near the village , and a few people went to see what it was, and for some strange reason or another the uncle of the newborn child brought him to see the crater. When he walked to the bottom , he found a small rock,
after a short look , he saw it was a diamond! Stating that he would make a necklace for the child, containing the diamond, and so he did. Many years passed and the child grew up , till the age of about 16, when a strange flag was spotted of to the
distance of the horizon. As it got closer it was seen that it was a British Man-o-war
off course searching to raid Istanbul after a encounter with Barbary Corsairs.
Many long boats started coming ashore and the British started firing at the village,
many villagers ran as fast as they could away from the range of the long 9s, but still in a small shack gathering water and weapons remained the boy and his uncle.
Just as they were about the leave and run off , a British naval officer burst through and stabbed the boys uncle, but no later was the officer hit by a cannon from his own ship. The boy's uncle lay on the floor , dieing, he gave him the necklace with
the diamond on the crescent moon, as his dieing wish he asked the boy to keep safe. Doing so, the boy ran off to find his parents and escape his burning village.

Sometime later , he finally found them in Damcus, the largest city in the region.
There he lived for a few month before going made with hate against the Navy
and setting of to Tunis on a long journey. There in Tunis he signed up on a pirate's ship and began plundering for a few months while rising up the rank during that time all the way to first mate. Then one day , while attacking British merchant
shipping, the captain was hit with a grape shot and died , assuming command
the First mate Matthew Crescentsilver the boy we started with in the beginning of
the story. Steering the ship away from the defending frigate, they made it back to port, where he reloaded and began his life as captain on the Fastest Xebec in the
Mediterranean The نسر ذهبي (english translation, the silver eagle).

Over a year or so, the sultan of turkey took interest in it captures and offered
to make he head of his entire navy , however he declined and proposed that
the sultan offer a East Indiaman instead in exchange for patrolling the waters off the straights of Gibraltar. He was given the East Indiaman and continued to plundered off the coast of North Africa.

Now, I have a dark dark past..... Almost so dark I'd regret puttin' this on paper, but, some force told me to. I used to be in the navy, aye the navy. I, somehow wasnt kicked out of the navy until i was an officer because i mutinied the ship, The Savage Griffin, yes this is how i got me ship. The mutiny was terible, sailed away with only me and the captains first mate that night. Then, I had somehow found a happy guild called Black Bart's Krewe. Twas fun and all but I missed mutiny in the air. Then, a fellow guild mate, goes by the name of Jack Swordfish said "I'm lookin' fer the Land O' Gold" I, of course went with him. When i got to him he was accompanied by a Juliana Fireheart. We all had a great night, exept for me, because i broke me leg that night. Then, the captain helped me mend the leg so I could run. But, that night, someone had slit jacks throat, and I was the one who did it. Ye see, I had to take out me mutinous likeness somehow. Before that night, I had threatend Juliana, and she ran and i pursued. Jack had threatand to leave me behind if I had mutinied again. He wasn't aware of me second muitiny......................... Well, I suppose I be gettin to far inter the present time. Maybe I'll wright again. Sometime.........................

Aye, I did leave out a lot more of my worse past, because I was SURE it would get me kicked out of the krewe. But, that same force told me to write it, to confess, so I did. Here it is, dont kick me from the krewe. (squeak)

So, after pillaging about, I got into a deal with the EITC, aye them. I got 1000 gold for info. I decided I was going to join the EITC, and did. I even turned against me old guild master Johnny O'Morris, gm of the Undead Wars. But I was not booted from the guild.

Here's some about me child hood. I was a pirate at birth, born at sea, and when i was 11, I commited me first muitiny with me folks, we killed the crew and sailed away with the Fire-Sail Wrath, a war galleon. It was all smooth sailing, until the royal navy took me mom an dad away to the gallows, I then, swore I would avenge them.

Now, time has grown short, and I must shove off. So I will probably not wright again.

I've raided alot of ships, but these were by far the HARDEST.

I had borded and EITC ship, sent some soliders to Davy Jones, and ran off to leave. However, I was halted by an old friend, Geari Tina Origin Forme, now EITC. I had tripped and he pinned me down. After a little "chat" about how i WAS on the right side, but left it, he put me under arrest. He said I could be left alive, on one condition, I join the EITC. I declined. Then, when we made port on Port Royal, I escaped, and waded onto shore.

This next one, was even harder to get away from. I was raiding again, I raided the comodores ship. During my raid, a meeting was going on, something about an emperor. I silently killed some crew men, and went off to escape. However, the only exit was directly through the meeting room. I went for it. They caught me, among them, was another old friend, Lord Davy Menace, but higher in rank than the other one. I was prepaired this time. I got out of the shackles and went off, on a paper airplane, a very, very, large paper airplane, powered by me breath. I couldn't get it ready fast enough, but i jumped anyway. I flew alongside Captain Walters ship. I had set course for Tortuga, and hoped for the best. Then, a bird hit my plane and I crashed. I swam to the nearest island, Driftwood Island, and met a marooned Hector Barbossa. He had found shelter in some ruins and warned me about sharks in the floor of one "room".

Well mates, i tried EVERYTHING to get off that island. I tried a raft. I tried to make paper, but neither worked. Then, I had an idea, I'd get off this bloody island like Jack Sparrow. I lied on shore and drank rum. After about three days, a ship came straight to the island. I thought I would be saved. However, the ships colours were blaring EITC. Fear struck me. I hid in some trees, but they found me. For some reason, they had only sent one person after me. I gave up. I went down to find Lord Davy Menace. I stretched out my arms for shackles, but he did nothing. He motioned me to his ship, which i found crewless. Davy told me his story.

He said he wanted to be a bit more free, and muitinied. He killed the first mate, him being the captain, and told the crew if they wanted to live, they'd be a pirate. None obliged. He killed em' all and knew he needed a crew. He remembered that i had come to raid his ship and went in a line to tortuga from the spot i jumped ship. He found me here.

So, we sent off to tortuga with two barrels o'rum, broke the current colours, made Lord Davy's colours, and set course for Tortuga.

Well Heres my Myth:

I was a Muslim from Iraq with no name. I migrated to France and joined a Privateer Squad. With conflict arising in the Carribean, we ventured in our light sloop there. We outsailed a Spanish Galleon, but before they sank, they fired a grapeshot and fire brand! The grape shot hit and killed the crew, but I was hit with the fire brand in my skull! Our ship drifted into Bilgewater and I was quickly arested by the tavern-keeper. Jack Sparrow sprung me and I escaped with my light sloop. Jolly Roger appeared out of no where and booted me from my ship. I swam to port royal. I got a sword from will, and another light sloop from Elisibeth. I then sailed to barbossa and got a pistol. Jack Sparrow then recruited me to get the pearl. Unfortunatually a was thrown into a gang called Carribean Rulers. I tried to use them to beat the navy but they all died. I sought help from a girl named Sadie Hall. She was victorious and recieved many thanks from me. Sadly, I was Lonely I joined a guild called □□□ (for respectful purposes I will not name names). □□□ was fun until I was caught being disrespectful to a fallen man. After that, they made false accusations about what I was doing. I left that guild after they claimed the guild would be better off without me. They banned me in mutual agreement. I then joined a wild guild, full of exitement called The Theives Den. I'm still there, and I'm fighting evil with them now!

Well from what I can remember this is what has happend...


Back in the day before Beckets rise to power in the EITC was a peacefull time. The EITC back then was a traiding compiny ( they still are ) but they stood out of pirates ways and pirates stay out of there way. On the newly found island of port royal was a small group of EITC members who were the first settelers to the island. One of those members were me, Mark flintshot, a top EITC member. After we spoted out where we were to put our fort I was called up to the main EITC person back then. He called me up to tell me that I was to elimenate the pirates from the caribbean. He said that they must be eliminater because they are making travle times longer. After telling him that they aren't bothering us he called up 5 EITC members to attack me for helping the pirates. After a long fought battle another EITC came up behind me and stabed his sword right though me..... 350 years later I was found by a grave rober, then sold to a random pirate with to much gold and then sent back to my grave. Then I was returned to life from an evil skelington man called Jolly Roger. Then after jut standing there for a few years I ran out of the graveyard, jumped on a ship and headed to where ever the wind took me. After a few more years of sailing I finally ended up in a place where there was a fountin.... And another pirate. After finding out that the pirate, Ben Lockshot was my brother ( Idk how but he really is ) I grabed some water from his magic fountin that brings people back to life. Then I had to change my name to Mark Bladeflint because he said he didn't want the EITC to find his fountin. So now I sail the seas looking for ways to destroy the EITC for good!
