All I know is what I was witness to. The only screenshots I have are of random level 60+ Navy ships in the area. And the Island could have been a major weird reflection sort of a glitch but the ships were definitely out there until the server was shut down and returned...It all happened just before the second reset during the Great Test Server Inventory and Progress Destruction Event of Spring '10. |

I think i remember sailing while on Test and saw some 60+ ships in Uncharted Waters.
I may be mistaken though. I was a low level and couldn't get close enough. |

Aye, that was the type of ship too. Looked like a colossus.

Yeah, it was a compliment. It's just, the way you typed it, and the way you usually type I thought, "Wait, really?"
And now that you showed the Navy Baston picture, yeah I believe you. It's very likely that the developers are showing things like this to test them. there are elements on the toontown test server that sometimes look odd, and we end up seeing them later. Or they just put them there, and it's obvious, and they don't tell us what they're for. Like new street props on the toontown test server. They didn't say what they were for, but they released them. Why they do this is beyond me. Release it for an hour or so to see if it won't cause any bugs by just being in the game? Beyond me, but it seems silly that they didn't even say in their release notes why there are these higher level enemy ships. I for one hope these new higher level(or just one new higher level) enemy ship doesn't end up giving us a new level cap, because I like having enemies that are higher levels than me. I always feel good beating something that's supposed to be stronger than me. Last edited by MacIronhawk; 04-23-2010 at 03:22 AM.. |

I have a sickening feeling that Raven Cove may be unlimited only

Honestly I hope it is. I feel sorry for all my basic friends.

Don't. It's our fault that we don't pay, lol.

Even if Raven Cove wasn't, if we will need the BIG weapons to deal with it - then the basics are going to be way overmatched.

probably, but there aren't many basics that would mind.

Basics are easily satisfied, aye? If Raven Cove were members only, it would be like the Black Pearl Island. If it's in open waters, I can't imagine them having you come up, clicking the anchor button, and saying, 'Oops. Sorry Mate'. That's not Disney. Unlike other games, Pirates Online has always had its areas open to basic access, if not the items, upgrades, etc.

If a new island was added, it shouldn't be available to paying members only. Basics should have the option to go there, although, they should also realize it will be very difficult. Take Tormenta for example. Basics are allowed there, however, there isn't much to gain from it.
