Never has one of my posts in the blog been approved when it talks about how the update could be better, or what could improve the game.

So I always try to post positive posts and then at the end say what could be better about it or what's bad about it and, BAM, it goes through.

The guys reading the posts before they go up most likely DON'T read the whole post. Good thing people are lazy, because I've been able to get some "not so positive" posts on the blog.

What is the Navy Hiding...May 28, 2010


For some time now we Pirates have able to carry out our business with ease, due mostly to the incompetence and laziness of the Navy. But that might be changing. Many good Pirates have noticed a sudden increase of new Navy flags. No one knows what these flags mean however, since it's the Navy, we can't help but assume the worst.

Our spies can only tell us that the Navy forts have been doing some construction. All of the movement and building takes place at night and, certain areas are cloaked and heavily guarded. But this we do know - it appears to be defensive and could mean the end of safe approaches to the islands. Is the Navy getting more aggressive? Do they have a new, secret weapon to fire on us? What do you think?

As someone who's been quoted quite a number of times on the Blog, I can say that when I go too long, or focus only on criticism - my posts are never used.

HOWEVER, I have seen complaints there before and a number of them. If you're not, you're glossing over them - they just aren't the majority is all.


But, I've found that if I say something positive as well - my chances are much higher that my comments get used, especially when I post in character.

ALSO, they do tend to post more things said by players who are obviously children. And why? Because kids enjoy the feedback AND Disney still believes they are their primary audience.

Take some time to look at the posts getting up - particularly the ones that are actually articulate. Try emulating them.

Just checked the site and it's at 1400 now. They closed the thread and it still is getting new posts on it!
