MMO's can't get ported to a different system. Why? Because of many factors like a console can't handle it, it would take a few years even with a team of maybe 20 people, and Quiet servers for the ported Console version would be even more laggy than Abassa on the Computer.

I have not tested this as i don't have a ps3 but you need to connect a usb drive or some other hard drive with pirates online to the ps3 the ps3 MUST have an online connection once you have the usb drive in navigate to launcher1.exe (assuming you have a usb mouse and keyboard into the ps3) type in user name and password and it SHOULD work. As for wii you would have to mod it which i won't go into and 360 i'm not familliar with the op system so i don't know and yes I am a computer geek. keep in mind i have not tested this and no I know for a fact it will NOT harm your ps3. If thye ps3 does not have enough usb ports a little dock from niko will have enough ports. Long but i think its worth it.

They need more instances like the Black Pearl Boss. Areas where you can solo against groups of enemies or go with friends to enjoy something different. POTCO has already sunk at its current level. It is time they added higher specs and started running a stronger gaming engine. |

Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista/windows 7
■ Pentium 3 800Mhz processor (P4 1Ghz rec.) ■ 256 MB RAM (512 recommended) ■ 400 MB disk space available ■ 32MB graphics card (64 MB recommended) ■ DirectX 9 or better ■ Broadband internet connection xbox 360 3.2 GHz 3 cores 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM 20 detachable hdd 64mb+ 500mz graphics card (no info on direct x if you have any please post it) ethernet and wifi suported playstation 3 3.2GHz 256 mb ram HDD Detachable 2.5” HDD slot x 1 (no info found please post any info you find) (no info found please post any info you find) ethernet & wifi wii 729mhz 512mb ram 512 mb flash memory (expandable with sd card) 243mhz graphics card wired/wireless above are the specs of the major 3rd generation consoles. as you can see the xbox 360 and play station 3 could theoretically run potco (though its not a good idea). As for 4th generation consoles assuming the specifications (ram storage processor speed ect.) doubled (not unreasonable) the xbox 720 and playstation 4 would be able to play potco assuming directx 9+ was included. all this proves is that pc was is and forever shale be the best game system in existence. |

first it doesn't support the players thats the servers job. it lags on a pc at the minimum requirements so shale it on a console that is on the edge of the requirements. also disney would be using the same game just with different controls (or the same with a keyboard) and the next generation consoles could run it and run it decently. also millions really? potco has maybe a few thousand people playing at the most. also it would only be supporting those in the same area of the server (quiet servers recommended).
ps they now support 64 player games on them an quiet server wouldn't be much of a problem also the minimum system requirements are what it takes to run the game lagy on abassa and possibly with limited lag on a quiet server. |

First things first, next gen consoles aren't getting released until 2013-15. Second let me explain to you that Mag on the PS3 which uses dedicated servers and supports up to 256 players in a game lags horribly. Currently the PS3 has the best servers on the market and it still lags more than Abassa. If they were to port POTCO to consoles then they would have to make new servers compatible with the consoles, which would make the most amount of players in a server without your game lagging horribly, 64. Next it's impossible to play a game with people from different systems on the same game, ex. 360 players can't play COD with PS3 or Wii players. Why? Because they use a different coding for each game.

that is where you are wrong there have been several semi successful attempts at that including one virtual world(what potco is) across many consoles and i believe you could play the a game with a pc with a ps2. its the same game all you have to do is change how you interact with the game environment.

If you want to prove it to me that there has been a multi-console game where 360 players can play with Wii players and Playstation players then tell me the name of the game. |

PS2 had very primitive online capabilities so that's a no. Windows live games are games for the xbox that have been ported to the Windows Live phones and you can only play with people who have the game on the phone, but the achievements unlocked on the phone do count towards your gamerscore on the 360. The same is with Halo 2 Vista whose achievements can count towards your gamerscore on the 360. The only exception to the rule of inter-console playing is 360 players playing with original xbox players ( PS3 with PS2 etc. ). Because they all use the same coding for their live so it's essentially just playing with someone who has an upgraded console, but original Xbox live was shut down, and Idk about orignal PSN. |
