Actually it's form Serenity. The voices of Halo 3 ODST are the same as the male actors of Serenity/Firefly. Alan Tudyk plays Wash in Serenity/Firefly and Mickey on ODST, Adam Baldwin plays Jayne in Serenity/Firefly and Dutch in ODST, and finally Nathan Fillon plays Capt. Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds in Serenity/Firefly and Buck in ODST.

I got this next little piece of trivia out of IMDB...

During game play the characters will occasionally reference dialogue from the "Firefly" (2002) series such as "the 'verse" and "gorram it!"

"Well, Mr. Dee-dee Doo-doo will have to say good night."
