What happend to the cargo drops? - Pirates of the Caribbean Online Fansite & Forums

Well there’s just problem after problem with this game. I have noticed this for a couple of days now, so have my friends.

Basically there are decreased royal chest drops or something? Me personally I haven’t received a SINGLE royal in 3 days now (I have treasure sense maxed). My friends maybe get a single royal per run; some haven’t gotten any just like me. I used to get an average of 4 royals per run, what happened now?

Has anyone else noticed this?

I got a few royals last night but I was also picking on some bigger class ships near PDF. Even got one with diamonds.

Did you recently add points to the Treasure Finder sailing skill? I seem to remember a post about that a while back... 4 or 5 points in it was giving LESS treasure.

Make sure you on the wheel when you are sinking them. If you have the treasure sence, it goes by u. Other than that I think the ships cant afford the royals anymore cause so many people quit payin to play the game?!?

OK. Here's the deal.

Treasure Sense is NOT bugged. Ships are NOT giving less royals.

You have to be on the helm while the ship sinks or you won't have your treasure sense applied.

If you are not on the helm, the person who delivers the last shot to the ship has their treasure sense applied to that cargo drop.

I was crewing with some Guildmates last night in the waters off Padres. The captain has 5 points on Treasure Sense, and we were picking up about 4 royals per run.

Also, though I only have 1 point on Treasure Sense (so far), I received a royal after solo sinking an Ironwall earlier in the evening.

I dont know about that anymore Davy. Last night we had a lvl 7 sailor on the helm. He stayed on the helm the whole time. My lil pirate at the same lvl, and another pirate at lvl 30+. He got about 4 royals and some cargo. I drove, I got all cargo.

Well I think its fixed now guys, since I'm getting tons of royals again, and even beat my old record (8 royals 1490).

But you guys had to be there, my friend and I were sailing all day and we both had treasure sense maxed, no one else on the ship- we werent getting ANY royals. We had about 20 runs all-together and maybe 5 royals. I guess it's fixed now though, maybe it was because of the green sea.
