Guess I'll just have to stop playing o.O
First of all. My game just keeps freezing and I't has never done it before so many times like that. I can't teleport to Raven's cove or Ill just freeze while the loading screen.

Second. I was gonna play through the site like i did before the luncher if it was something with that. I press the red play button and WHAT? Now I can't play it by Google Crome. Only Firefox and Internet Explorer o.O

Is there anything I can do?

Ok....let me gather some info here. When was the last time you were able to play? What changed since you last played? Windows updates? Driver updates? Video card settings? Direct X settings change? Did you download the launcher recently? Did you install any new programs? Hang with me and we'll get you going in the right direction.

I feel yer pain Meg, the main reason I have not been online as much, other than life, is because of problems with the game.

See, about a month ago I started having problems with the launcher, and it got so bad that I simply could not use the launcher anymore. So I started logging in through the Browser... Until they got rid of it... Eventually I fixed the Launcer, but the game has never run the same since.

And the worst part? After an hour the game enters a "Red Zone" so after an hour the game can crash at any moment.

Few days ago I just noticed that the game just froze because of nothing. Nothing has changed with the computer. I have the luncher that came about 3 weeks before the scoundall update. I can "play" the game. I just freeze when I teleport.
Iv'e heard of people freezing and not loading problems and I actually think this is a game problem. At least there comes a bug report window when I exit the game.

A similar problem happens to me. It just started happening recently... I can't go to Darkhart on Abassa anymore, on High Graphics. When I go there, a get a hit in on him, then my computer will freeze, a black screen appears for a certain amount of time, and then when it gets back, I get a message saying the display has crashed but recovered, and then Pirates crashes. Now, of course, I'm still fine playing POTCO without High Graphics, but this makes me wonder if it will lead to future problems with POTCO for me.

Ohhhhh I knew this was gonna happen. I could never get on to a server with a large amount of players on the desktop launcher 2-3 years back, but problem stopped when I started using the website launcher. Now that Disney took away the site launcher, the same old crashing that Sharktooth's getting is happening to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it is currently happening to thousands of other players as well. I miss the website launcher... it never crashed. This bloody launcher crashes all the time, and 90 percent of the pirates on this site are welcoming its return. I think that they fixed some problems on the website launcher when it was first released, but they still have the same, glitchy desktop launcher that they've had since the game began. Again, way to go Disney for taking away content and crippling the gaming experience for thousands of your players.

I just never freeze unless teleporting to Raven's cove or sometimes to another player o.O I never do it on crowded places and stuff like that :O

Change your settings. Mainly I haven't experienced this but make some adjustments. If you have graphics on high change it to medium, if that didn't help, then set it to low. If didn't help then put it on Put it on OpenGL, directX, DirectX9. If didn't help delete some files. Delete some other stuff. See which browser takes up less space. If this didn't help then uninstall, then reinstall.

This should help.
