well when you commited the crime... lets say you said a bad word....and if you were reported, how long did you find out your were banned after u said it?

When I was suspended, it appeared to have been triggered automatically by thier systems scanning chat logs in the middle of the night 12:27am PDT to be exact (for me). 72 hours later from that moment, my account was unlocked.

I found out the next morning when I attempted to log into POTC and was redirected to a disney community page indicating id been suspended and had to contact them to address the issue.

i do believe the only time amount ban they have for now is 72 hour bc all the bans i have heard have been 72 hours are there any other times?

Yes, Twisted, we have one basic and one unlimited account that are linked together.

I wonder if there's a limit to the number of accounts you can link.

You wouldn't believe the stuff they can ban you for. We got suspended for telling the URL of a pirate website. Not a Disney website, I'll admit, but still, it's about Pirates Online. They said it was "revealing personal information".

When I was a guildmaster, one of my officers got suspended for "revealing personal information" about me - he never did tell me exactly what he said but it couldn't have been much. I never told him anything beyond the fact that I have a daughter and I'm in college.

well i understand why u cant say guild websites. bc disney has no control over the sites and therefore u could be sharing personal info that is LINKED to disney and disney does not want a law suit

I'll agree to that - but - they ALSO put out a Web Kit and encourage members to build Guild Sites buy alowing for the distribution of their material...

Its almost like the 'encourage' you to get banned. You wouldn't give a dog a bone then slap it on the snout for taking it...

What they should have in this case is once you create the Web Site you submit the site to them for approval. If approved then the name gets put into the dictionary and thats it. If not or there are changes needed they let you know - and they can revisit or remove the site if they get complaints (yes - they would required more man-power on thier end so I don't expect it to happen - it just what could be done to avoid this issue I guess...)

When I was suspended they took two separate conversations that were hours apart, and converged them into one conversation to make an adequate 'case' against me. And still they agreed afterwards it was insufficient information to locate/find/contact anyone, and that the situation was not falling under that which the rules were written to prevent.

My suspension remained, although I was credited for days lost.
