Sorry if this counts as double posting, but I had worked on this one and wanted to post it. I'm Eastern Time in the US, so I don't know what time I should post since the time is...well, messed up in the posts for me. In honor of Spring Break, I will try to get a new chapter out every day.
Chapter 10: Ultimate Bladebearer Unity Jack flipped backwards as Michael swung at Jack to dodge the attack. "Michael, come to your senses! Don't let the darkness trap you in its wake forever!" pleaded Jack. "I won't kill you, Michael. I know there's still good in you." Michael growled and charged at Jack saying, "SHUT UP!! I AM PURE DARKNESS, I HAVE NO ALLEGIANCE WHATSOEVER TO THE REALM OF LIGHT!" Jack blocked the charge, then did a series of blade attacks to try to knock Michael off balance. "Michael, you used to have yellow in your eyes...a sign of darkness. You no longer have it. You've turned from the darkness. I know it." Bart, not listening to the conversation, laughed and clapped. "Very good, Michael. Let your anger rush through you. Let the darkness control your actions. Let it guide you to strike this pitiful boy, your brother, to oblivion!" Then, he felt a blade held in front of his neck. "Ah, Gastro...your timing is impeccable. But, don't worry. I'll save some fun for you, too." He flipped over Gastro and landed with a thud on the ground. Gastro turned around and said, "Tell me, Bart...what exactly did you do to make Michael turn from darkness so suddenly?" Bart, apparently, puzzled said, "Turned? Don't make me laugh. If he was turned, he wouldn't be fighting Jack." Gastro smirked and said, "No. I sense a change of heart in him. It seems he's fighting the darkness within him." Gastro readied his blade. "Now, I can almost guarantee light will win this battle." Enraged, Bart attacked with his dark blade. He quickly slashed at Gastro, with Gastro blocking it. "What happened, Bart? Why so weak now?" Bart growled in rage and shot a dark blast at Gastro. Just as Gastro was about to be destroyed... ...Del jumped in front of the blast and blocked the blast! "Bart, you've lost. Light prevails again." Mark jumped next to Gastro and said, "This time, you lose, Bart." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ Michael flew back in recoil and fell on his knees. "I can't lie...you've grown stronger, brother. But...you haven't seen my true strength yet." Jack, puzzled, said, "Huh?" Michael evilly chuckled. "You see, like you, I have potential in my power. Potential that I have not yet fully released." Jack, startled, jumped back and said, "Does that mean...?" Michael then said, "Yes, it means that Bart gave me enough power to defeat in case something like this happened. I never thought I'd have to use it. But, you leave me no other choice, brother. But, don't worry. We'll see each other again. In the next life!" Michael laughed. Michael balled his fists and concentrated his strength. "Darkness; wickedness; torment; greed; rage; sadness; power." Michael looked to the sky. "These are all elements of darkness. Neither wrong nor right. Darkness, hear my plea. I've become one with you. Loyal to you. Now, give me strength to crush those who stand in my way to destroy me!" For a minute, Jack was scared. But, nothing happened. Michael was confused. "What...this can't be. This is exactly what Master Bart told me to say...why isn't it working?!" Jack grinned and said, "Because, Michael; you are no longer a denizen of darkness. You belong to light now. You've felt guilt. Sorrow for what you've done. Sorry for us, not for you. Bart was afraid this would happen. The reason he's weaker is because he gets his strength from his followers' loyalty. You, however, are no longer loyal to him and you were a strong source of power. Now that you're saved from his grasp, he is helpless." Michael fell on his knees. "I can't believe it...he's right. I no longer feel I need to serve Bart. Not Master Bart anymore. Just Bart." Angry, Bart said, "Well, Michael? Finish him!" Michael then remembered something; something from his childhood. Perhaps he remembered the fact that he and Jack used to be close friends as brothers. The playful sword fights they would have with wooden swords. Now... Michael listened to reason. He stood up. "No." Bart, stunned, said, "What did you say to me, servant?" Michael turned to Bart. "I said no. And I'm no longer your servant. I no longer belong to darkness. You used me as a pawn. But, no more." Michael beginned to glow yellow...his black coat disappeared, along with his hood. It revealed brown hair, blue eyes, and a regular face. His garments were a red shirt and brown pants. Enraged, Bart said, "No!!! That's why I'm weaker! He's not loyal to me anymore!" Michael and Jack pointed their blades at Bart. "It's over." Michael was no longer a Dark Bladebearer. He was a Bladebearer of Light. Bart is still alive, though. Will light prevail or will darkness take over? Find out in the next chapter. Last edited by Captain Gas; 04-08-2012 at 12:37 AM.. |

Everyone who's reading this, unless you're a guest, please comment if possible. I know you're viewing my story but I need to know what it needs. I need to know if people like it. So far, I rarely get at least a bit of comments and that was a long time ago.
Chapter 11: The Power of Light Bart growled in rage. "You can't beat me! I am unstoppable! The master of darkness!" Gastro slashed Bart. "I honestly don't care what happens to this world. After all, it was your creation to try to take over all worlds so I'll let it die." Bart widened his eyes and said, "What do you mean?" Gastro smirked. "Don't you see? The amount of power we've been using to fight in this world is enormous. It's making your world split in half. It will soon be destroyed completely and your hard work will be gone." Bart pounded his fists on the ground. "NO!! THIS CAN'T BE!! MY PLANS WERE SO PERFECT!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY COULD HAVE FAILED LIKE THIS!!" Jack plunged his blade into the ground in front of Bart. "Simple. Darkness never wins and you didn't think out your plans right. Didn't you know that we had gotten stronger? You, of all people, should have anticipated that. And one more reason you failed. You've gotten weaker both in mind and in strength." Bart, still shaking, got back up. "Well, my plans haven't entirely failed yet. If this world is destroyed, so are you. That, and I'm still alive. And..." He balled his fists and a dark aura appeared around him along with dark arms emerging from the ground! "...I'll use the last of my dark powers to destroy you pitiful fools and bring darkness to power!" The dark arms grabbed Jack's father! Jack held out his hand. "Father!!!" Michael sneaked up behind Bart and cut off the dark arm holding Jack and Michael's father. Bart turned around and said, "Fool!!" He held out his dark arms and gripped Michael on his neck! As Michael choked for air, Jack's anger began to rise. Finally, he took one last glance and ran towards Bart saying, "No!!! Stop!!!" His light aura shined brighter and his helmet's mask closed over him. Bart turned around and said, "Wha--" But, he couldn't finish because Jack had just struck Bart with his blade. As Bart fell down, the dark arms released Michael. He dropped to the ground, gasping for air. Del walked towards Jack and said, "Jack, we can end this now. I know a chant that can help us win for sure." Jack turned around and said, "You do?" Del replied, "Yes, but you must repeat after me." Jack nodded and waited. "Hag manoa, lunde polami, remowa, astropicus lighta!" chanted Del. Jack repeated, "Hag manoa, lunde polami, remowa, astropicus lighta!" Jack's blade shined a bright yellow and the light shot at Del, Gastro, Mark, Sparrow, and Michael. "What's happening?" said Gastro as he rose into the air, shining yellow like the other Bladebearers. Del replied, "Jack is sharing some of his light with you, turning us all into Super Bladebearers for a brief time." Bart looked up and said, "No! I can't believe it! 6 Super Bladebearers at once?!" Del shouted, "Bart, your time has come! Prepare to meet your end!" as all of the Bladebearers charged at Bart. The force sent him flying into the core and he was destroyed! Everyone cheered in happiness and the Bladebearers turned back to normal except for Jack. "Why didn't you tell me the chant before?" asked Jack. "We could have defeated him before all of this chaos!" Del replied, "Because it can only be used when we are facing a dark enemy when he is at full power." Gastro turned to Michael. "Do you still remember how to get out? This world will end soon." Michael replied, "Of course. Only now, I can use a light portal." Mark said, "Dude, you've gotta teach me how to do that." As everyone was walking away, they heard the sound of something. It sounded like huffing and growling. Jack widened his eyes in hope that it wasn't what he thought it was. Alas, nothing can be too good to be true. He turned around and saw a near death Bart standing in front of the core! "Surprise!!" said Bart as everyone gaped in horror at what was standing before them. |

WARNING: Some scenes in this chapter may be a bit too graphical, like blood. If you are disgusted or do not like blood, do not read this chapter. Just PM me or somebody else who has read this chapter and we will tell you what happens without the blood.
Chapter 12: Conclusion of a Battle Bart huffed and puffed as he walked away from the core, blood on his face and arms. "You pesky fools are a large thorn in my side...but, you will be gone forever!" He charged a small dark blast in his hands and shot at Jack! Jack was much too shocked and stiff to dodge and he was about to die. But, nothing hit him. It hit someone else. Then, he realized his father was standing in front of him! His father looked at the hole in his chest then said, "Goodbye, sons..." as he fell to the ground, dead. Jack looked in horror as he looked at his father's dead body. He fell to his knees in front of his father's corpse and screamed, "NO!!!!!!!!!" Michael fell on his knees next to Jack in front of their father named Bruce and Michael's fists shook. "Bart....you...MONSTER!!!" Jack was still shaking in violence, sadness, and frustration. "I...won't...ALLOW YOU TO LIVE ANYMORE, BART!!! PREPARE TO MEET YOUR PERMANENT END!!" said Jack as he was glowing a bright green. His armor was changing into green and his arm plates grew spikes. His eyes turned green and he stood up with a green aura. He said in a distorted voice just like when he was facing Jolly Roger, "Bart Gunshot, leader of darkness and destroyer of all worlds, you will face a demise so painful you won't even be able to scream. Your threat has been here for far too long and will be vanquished." He pointed his blade at Bart. Del looked at Jack and said, "His true power and the fullest power of the Bladebearers has been released. He is now a Bladebearer Master and the form he is in is an Ultimate Bladebearer. Bart can do nothing but cower in fear now. He can't even run. An Ultimate Bladebearer is far too fast." Bart stepped backwards once and said, "W-Who are you?" Jack replied, "The legendary hero that will defeat you. The chosen one in the prophecy. The boy destined to defeat you. I am all of the Bladebearers' essences and their strength. My name is Jack Seaeagle." He teleported behind Bart and slashed him in the back! Bart yelped and said, "You...this can't...I don't believe it..." Jack stabbed him in the chest and held it in. "How does it feel? The pain of losing a life? Losing your own life?" said Jack. Then, Del realized what Jack was doing. "Jack, no! You've gone too far! Don't give into darkness! Bart will have won!" Jack replied with gritted teeth, "But, he deserves it..." Del replied, "Still! We're Bladebearers of Light, not Darkness! We don't take lives mercilessly like that!" Jack then reluctantly took the blade out of Bart's chest. Bart, dying, coughed up blood. "You...you've actually...killed me...I'm...*cough*...surprised...you're a....*cough*...worthy adversary..." Then, he stopped and his head hit the ground fully. Bart was dead. "I'm proud, Jack. You did the right thing." said Del. Michael told Jack, "Even after what he did to our father, father still wouldn't have wanted you to mercilessly take his life. You know that better than anyone else. Even me." Jack turned back to normal and his armor disappeared. He then said, "Yeah...I guess you're right. But, dad...he's dead. I'll never see him again. Before, I thought he was dead. He wasn't, and then...now he really is." Jack shed a tear and dropped his blade. The blade disappeared in a flash of light until the time comes that he summons it again. Michael patted Jack and said, "Don't worry, Jack. He's in a better place now. He'd be proud of you. Not so much proud of me, because I turned to the darkness." Gastro then said to Michael, "You're wrong about the second part. He would be proud of you, because you turned away from darkness in the end. Even after all that time, you turned away from your inner darkness and rejected it." Mark then told Jack, "Jack, don't worry. He wants you to prove you could do things without him. He would want that. This just advances you further in life." Jack them smiled and said, "You guys are right. Thanks." He summoned his blade again and looked at it. "This will be a reminder anyway. This was all because of him anyway. I remember everything." Bruce Seaeagle was dead, but so was Bart. This time for real for both of them. Our heroes have completed a deadly and dramatic battle. They have saved the world once again from the forces of darkness. The second journey of the last of the Bladebearers has ended. THE END Journey of the Last of the Bladebearers 3: The Final Journey is next. It won't be here soon, because my new story The Legend of The Defender will be out first and completed. Then comes the last sequel of this story. Look for the Legend of the Defender in The Sailor's Yarn soon! |
