It would appear that all pirates that picked up the fathers day quest during the fathers day weekend, are able to complete it whenever they wish, and receive thier reward accordingly.

The only thing that 'expired' was the availability of the quest.

and all the 3 hr double rep bonus's on my pirates... arrrrrrrG!
