Although I do not want to join as I am in charge of my own guild, Fallen Legion, I can give you tips on how to make your guild grow and become successful, and I hope you will find them quite helpful.
-When recruiting, tell others what sets your guild apart from all the rest. -Have a positive attitude. I cannot tell you how much this helps. If you are negative and think that your guild will never go anywhere, that is what will happen. -If you have any close friends on this game, it would best for them to join the guild. This creates a LOYAL member base, which is KEY in maintaining a guild. They can be there to offer advice, and help you along the way. -Recruit slowly. Don't just randomly throw invites at those who are walking by! You should get to know them first. They may turn out to be a complete jerk, but at least this way you will know who they really are and realize that you do not want a person like that in your guild. -Drama WILL occur, there is no way to avoid it. Every guild has or have had drama, whether or not they want to admit it or not! This is where you step in. Being the guildmaster, you have to find a way to fairly resolve these issues. -Get to know your members before deciding to promote them. I cannot tell you how many guilds on POTCO do not do this, and in the end, most likely their guilds will not outlast those who make an effort to interact with their members. -Be friendly. Greet everyone as they come on, and try your best to interact with them. Welcome new members to the guild. It will make a long lasting impression! That's all that I can think of for the moment. Remember, every guild will have its peaks and downfalls, and it may seem hard in the beginning, but with a lot of effort, patience, and time, you will see that your guild is progressing more than you could ever imagine
