3 crazy problems...
I have 3 problems with 3 different computers.
My first problem is, on a computer running Vista, it freezes whenever i go out to sea. My second problem is on a computer running xp, i log in and the screen goes black as it should b4 it connects, but then it crashes and returns to the login screen. And my final problem is on another computer running xp, it says the server is temporarily unavaliable but it is still trying. This one has a D-Link ADSL router if that helps. Please answer me with atleast an answer to one! |

Ok, now first I would recommend on the first two, make sure you have up to date video drivers.
You may find the following posts setting change to be useful asis on the XP machine, however where it says "pandadx9" try "pandadx10" for the vista machine. http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/f...60&postcount=2 As far as the other one, sounds like you need to forward some ports or something, my apologies, im not to savvy about the ports, not having had to ever adjust mine. |

on the one that says "servers seems to be temporailly unavailable...still trying..." use that one, that just means youre just having a hard time logging in, that happend on my CP from time to time, i just X out and login again, and it works fine

Uhh my brother fixed the vista computer. Outdated video card drivers were the culprit...
Oh and pirateguy 14, i have gone out and tried to log in at least 7 times. I tried unblocking some ports. I dont use the 3rd one much, so its not much of a problem. But it would be nice if some1 could help. Last edited by Wendot; 08-17-2008 at 12:26 PM.. Reason: merged double post |

You may be best served contacting the Live Chat on the official website about your disconnect issue. Is it using a wireless connection by chance? If so, hardwired IS the way to go. Despite wireless technologies companies claims, it is prone to inconsistency of our uncontrollable airwaves, and not good for gaming. However you'll have some say.. works fine for me! But not all environments etc being the same.. if its not working for you, that point is moot. |
