constant open fire!

Hey all, a guildy mentioned to me she was in svs lastnight and someone aboard knew how to keep the ships Open Fire from ending. THIS NEEDS TO BE FOUND OUT AND FIXED. It explains an awful lot why sometimes we just get close to a ship with the same amount of crew mates (sometimes LESS) and don't stand a chance. I'm apalled that this would happen and if anybody know's it then let big D know, the girl left before she told anyone (which i doubt she would anyway). Just a heads up... But this is by far worse than the repair and cannon glitch by miles!

EDIT: possibly one for broadsides firing without recharging too, not sure.

o great another SVS glitch to worry about.......and I agree THIS NEEDS TO BE FOUND OUT AND FIXED.

Its sorta sad how many people need to resort to these glitchs, I mean really its just a game.

i had that glitch once but by mistake when i got my war frig. i sailed with it around padres. it was just like those times that you get stuck with "slow" or one of those. never happened again.

I have not seen this glitch yet, but if found I will reported here on this thread. I have gotten the infinite full sail one, but it just the wind part that keeps running. The Open Fire sounds more challenging and problematic...should be reported ASAP.

Hard to say if I've come across someone using this glitch i do SvS fairly frequently and here's the thing use "come about" to maneuver behind their ships and if you do that this glitch becomes much harder to use (because they're sinking hehehe)

I have had this used against me, and yes there is a glitch for constant firing as well. I was getting blasted by a small crew and they were repeating 3 lightenings one after another, with no recharge interval.

Open fire doesn't make the recharge any faster. Leadership make recharge faster. Open fire causes more damage. Maybe this glitch is bigger than we thought and theres a way to make everything constant.

So after skill reallocation came out I reset my cannon skills to have all the skill points possible in lightning and fury and in SvS the damage was a little stronger but not extremely stronger, even when the captain of the ship used open fire the damage was strong but not extremely so. Well it seems they've found a way to make lightning extremely powerful, I had barely moved away from the island when I was halfway down on health on my ship and was sunk within a few minutes. Idk if its another glitch but if its another that needs to be fixed right away. I agree with Sven.. its so frustrating when people have to stoop that low to use glitches to win. It is a game, make it fair and fun for everyone.

Okay first of all what kind of ship and second of all if you shoot the burning spots on a ship it does about 1000-1200 in SVS ( with lightening maxed ) out of svs it does about 2500-3000 maxed ( the 3000 maxed is with barrage )

5 points in Barrage is sort of like having 2 extra skill points in a skill if that skill is maxed out, not, as erroneously claimed, like one. It's 25 percent more damage on whatever item of mention, and calculates full value.

As it relates to constant open fire, well, they're are ways to do that without a glitch as well, though I'm not saying I don't believe you (as I do). Still, I know plenty of tricks to keep Open Fire rolling, like the many-man sailing option where a line of consecutive people take the wheel.

It was a war sloop Vs war sloop and i can understand if they had maxed open fire and maxed fury at the same time. But someone in the crew actually said they know how to have constant open fire, but wouldn't tell us and then vanished. It could be a false claim, but i think it's worth knowing it may exist, but just like the cannon glitch and triple explosives and lightning it was a pretty secret glitch until recently.

I haven't heard anything on this one. I do know you can quite easily shoot three -1 -1 under one open fire solo, or two volleys of fury. What you can do with a few players could make this definetly last long enough to take out any opponant with much a crew.

With several of these glitches like setting something up with one thing and switching to another, may be a similar deal.

After days and days of frustration ... being sunk by smaller vessels while aboard War Sloops crewed at 50% with level 40's.

I was finally shown the glitch, because sending the complaint and screen wasn't enough, D requested details. It is scarily simple to do. I confirmed it with each of the single fire ammos and it worked. Bang! Bang! Bang! As fast as your round shot. Exactly how it had been used against us for days. It is the Triple Explosives, Grape, and Lightening glitch.

If you believe you've been attacked this way - chances are you have. You're not imagining it. We kept trying to justify how it could happen without cheating. Others tried to justify it for us. You play the game, if you know its impossible, it is. D isn't going to lift a finger until the community majority is in an uproar over it.

This proves devastating to anyone not firing back with the same cheating glitch.

IF YOU KNOW HOW TO DO IT, REPORT IT! It needs to be corrected.

I know how, and i have reported this bug many times and like always Disney does absolutely nothing...

P.S i will not post this glitch on here the thing has already spread fast enough, and people will spread it even more like crazy
