It will be released. Not soon. But it will be released. There are just too many bugs in it. Such as running through the door to the captains quarters and falling through the floor ( this happened to me and I sent in a report ).

Well it seems to have been better last I have been on it. Just needs repair spots. Maybe the broadside aim could be improved. But it does have a long wait before it hits live.

Keep in mind that it hasn't technally even hit test yet, so it is still a while before it makes it to live.

The Ship of the Line, in my opinion, needs not repair points. It has strong-enough hull panels to withstand enemy fire for a while, and its 20,000 HP adds to its defense. Plus, it would take an eternity to repair the hull panels.
I do believe it will come eventually. There have already been many changes since its first appearance - from the removal of the Navy colors, to the moving of the cannons that were hard to view from. There are only a few things that need tweaking (such as the broken wall) before it will be high time tom release it and the other 5 ships. |

Earlier in the year six ships were accidentally released to the test server which weren't fully complete, the ship of the line being one of them. Because the Ship of the line was already released as an enemy ship, many players bought it. However, there were five other ships that most people didn't buy.
Note: The screenshots you are about to see are not confirmed ships that will be released. This is all speculation but it's very likely these ships will enter the game sometime in the future. Here are the modified(barely) player versions of some enemy ships which may or may not be released in the future. Phantom: ![]() Ghost War Sloop: ![]() El Patron's Ship: (Notice the player blue/red markings on this ship. This is what distinguishes our player ships from the enemies, at least for now) ![]() Player Version of the Black Pearl: ![]() ![]() There hard to see but you'll notice on the back of the ship there are the player ship markings. Ship of the Line: ![]() Again I note that these pictures are actually models currently from the phase files, however these have NOT been confirmed by POTCO as ships to be released in the future. Until the next update, enjoy these to keep you thinking. P.S. Every ship has three classes. There have not been any indications in the phase files which point to any different classes of any of these ships. EDIT: I apologize for a mistake I made. El Patron's ship type does NOT have any player markings on it, although at first glance you may think it looks like an average player ship. |

Also, the player version of the Black Pearl, I believe it may be an upcoming player ship even though it wasn't released with the original six.
The Queen Anne's Revenge is already the same ship model as the BP, only a lower class, which leads me to believe all classes of the Black Pearl are done. If that's true, then an update like this may be closer that we think. |

we need more then current on the sotl guys, I mean the holes in which cannons should be in, we use them, and then the wall becomes invisible for US, the cannoners. Still We need repair Slots, if not the hull, we need to repair the HP, many times on outlaw's sotl, the hp is veery low but the hull is nearly full.

First of all, adding a Ship of the line would not down grade sailing (I've driven one on test and it was fun) and if they do add a sotl, they will most likely add tougher ships for us more experienced pirates, why there might even be roaming sotl

Im sure the SOTL will come in due time.
My GM in test has one, I have had the privelage to crew it and even drive it, but it needs some tweaking. The broadside aim was horrible. A ship can be next to you and only two cannon-balls will hit it. I also think that they should move cannons back into the spots in the wall, to fix the problem with the view, they can turn the wall invisible for cannoneers, like they do on the front sails on a frigate. I also reckon the cargo and crew and maybe even the amount of broadside should be increased, at the moment it is nothing more than a War Galleon with ALOT of armour. And to add to the list of stuff they need, we need stronger enemies now with the SOTL. Maybe more SOTLs that have a permenant route on the ocean, they can also have more armour than the normal SOTLs to make it a challenge to kill. But apart from some of the glitches (mentioned and unmentioned), im sure we will see it on test in the near future. |

We destroyed the QAR with one on Test. We had, like, twenty pirates on board.

They MIGHT of released it by accident with no intention of ever releasing it... as of the ships we fight dont have repair slots

It lasted over a day. I remember I had plenty of time to buy something, but I wasted it all being on a Ship of the Line for gold.
![]() Still, at least there's a Kingfisher that I can occasionally have fun with ![]() Edit: The Buyable Kingfisher does have repair spots. It also has Chainshot Broadsides, which is not what a regular NPC Kingfisher has, which is Round Shot. |
