Your Invisible!!

Earlier today several members of the Krewe set out to help a pirate who needed to complete the Pearl Quest. Twas a smaller sized crew including Davy Keelhawk, Goldie, Hijack, the captain & myself. We agreed to help this pirate complete the Boss Battle. Well, the Boss Battle turned into...shall we say...a drive-by? The Pearl was nevered turned & take-cover or open fire were never given a chance to recharge. The Pearl stormed by the bridges, despite the crew shouting "Wait for recharge" & "Turn the ship". By the time we got to the Goliath, the Pearl wa in definite trouble. Her health was in RED. But, with a little out-manuvering we could have sunk the Goliath. This didn't happen & we all ended up groggy & in jail. I always call these Boss Battles Drive-bys...been on them before...lol But the real reason for this thread is that after we escaped from jail, the Krewe members set out to sink some ships. Funny thing, Lizzy couldn't see Goldie. Hijack couldn't see Lizzy. We must have encountered an invisibility glitch, maybe on our jail break...idk. After realizing that we were not all visible to each other, Lizzy sent in a report to BiG D. Not everyone was invisible to each other...that was the really strange part of the story...

I have seen this happen before, its happened in the game for quite some time actually. Unfortunately its always been one of those things that i've never been able to recreate for bug reports, etc. I have grown accustomed to relogging, or at least re-teleporting to my friends to resolve it. I believe its a 'teleport' glitch basically, that happens when you are ported either by request (ie teleport), or spawning in jail, landing your ship, etc.

We have this happen alot!! Usually we have to log out & in to fix this. Maybe we are all just have a coin from Barbossa in our pockets LOL. It is frustrating especially since it takes me soooo long to log back in aarrgghhh!

i wasnt aware of the invisibility glitch but i certainly didnt like the driver of THAT boss battle, afterwards i said "at least lizzy KNEW how to drive" (i had volunteered her before but she said no because she was bad i think)

The Captain I helped out "Michael the Great" wasnt too great after all and logged off before the Pearl sunk.

The nerves of some people these days, just to save their own skin. Sickens me...

Just wanted to note here that the last time this happened (during jail teleport, although it has happened on other teleports) that i remembered to check i noticed that i had actually jumped servers. I could see some but not all of our crew, so i am thinking that i am not the only one who jumped servers, but logging out and back in, then teleporting to them resolved the issue.

Have forgotten to check for that again, but will try to do so in the future

This happens a lot it svs, it seems when you sink you sometimes come back invisible.
Usually if you grab a cannon or the wheel and let go it fixes the issue.

Aye, this has happened to me numerous number of times. Tis especially interesting when ye get a picture of your doll attempting to attune as ye see here.. You get the outline of the person and see the attunement for a minute.. then it disappears.
