Site Won't Remember Me
For some stupid reason I can not get POF to remember me no matter how many times I click the little remember me box when I log in. Uh, what is going on here?

I was wondering the same thing! Every time I click it, it doesn't remember me when I close the browser. What is going on here??

Probably not, i'm using Firefox and it remembers me. Not sure what the problem is though.

For those having problems. it's probably best if you delete your cookie for POF. You can do this by going into your browser options and deleting it manually or you can logout of POF, which does the same thing. Then log back in from the middle of the front page and click the remember me check box. This should give you a new cookie which works correctly. If you still appear as if you aren't logged in, click the forums button at the top of the page. You should appear logged in then.
This last patch to vB has cause some unstable cookie issues. |

I had this problem, too.
To fix, when on the home-screen on POF, just click on the "Forums" button, between the "Home" and "Gallery." This should log you in automatically.... I hope this works, since it works for me. For those of you that are wondering, this has worked on Safari (iPod Touch and Computer) and IE. Sorry if it doesn't work. ~Chris Ironhawk Level 44 |
